Nicely done up cottage in great location

Location. Drive into town very short and easy and perfect spot for drives around snowdonia and Anglesey. Furnishings were new and quite smart. Beds were comfortable.

A great base for a holiday in the mountains.

Some accessible walks direct from the house. The house was warm and comfortable. Great place. Highly recommend.

Cosy and Comfortable

Great accomodation. Great location. Cosy and comfortable. Only comment would be that some of the dishes/mugs/cutlery were not completely clean and there were lots of cobwebs in places. However, this wasn’t a big deal and we had a great stay. We would come back in the future.

Absolutely lovely house, very clean and beautiful location.

Only 15 minute walk into Betws-y-coed. The house had all the amenities needed, dvd player with films, games both for adults and children, recommendations on restaurants, where to go etc. Decorated lovely and plenty of space. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to visit again.

Wonderful home away from home

Took us a while to find the property on foot but worth the hike for us. Spotlessly clean & lovely home. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Couldn’t have been lovelier. Owners rightfully take great pride in their home. Betws-Y-Coed has been a highlight of our trip so far.

Great holiday stay

Parking and location was good. Living spaces nice and comfortable. Summer duvets would be good, they were way too warm. Better, bigger, blackout curtains would be a bonus, 3 windows all leaking light ensured no late lie ins.

Recently refurbished house

Everything is new and clean. The house is about 10 minutes walk from the main village and it is nice to leave the hustle and bustle behind! It might be advisable to let people know about the steep stairs.

Nicely done up cottage in great location

Location. Drive into town very short and easy and perfect spot for drives around snowdonia and Anglesey. Furnishings were new and quite smart. Beds were comfortable. Heating should come on earlier in winter. Currently set to 7pm. It meant arriving at a cold house each evening. Would be nice to have a supply of tea bags and maybe a little basket of stuff on arrival as other cottages do. Cork screw is broken.

Great location, a 10 to 15 minute walk from the centre of Betws Y Coed

Great location, a 10 to 15 minute walk from the centre of Betws Y Coed. THe house was lovely with plenty of space, the only downside was the cleanliness of the property. Lots of dust, dirt, long grass in the garden and the bathrooms were not clean. As I said if we were to stay again we would choose the property again, we understand Finest Retreats are resolving the cleanliness issues. thanks

This was a nice place to see this corner of Wales from. There are 3 bedroom all upstairs. There are 2 bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The stairs are narrow and steep so if that is an issue for you please note. To open the front do you need to lift the handle up at the same time you are using this key. We had not been told this so we had a hard time getting the front door unlocked. In addition there was only one kitchen towel. Nothing to hand wash dishes with or to wipe down the counters. No paper towels, no pot holders. The descriptions says there are not bath towels but there were towels for us to use. There is a French press for coffee. Other people had noted in the guest book there they loved the welcome gift. There was no welcome gift, just a bit of older coffee on the counter. It would have been nice to have a few amenities as I have mentioned.
