Professionally managed by North East Escapes, Babbling Burn Cottage is a brand new dog-friendly holiday cottage nestled in the serene hamlet of Spindlestone, just 10 minutes from Bamburgh. This beautiful Northumberland holiday cottage has been beautifully designed with high-quality finishes throughout. Babbling Burn Cottage has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and comfortably sleeps 4 guests.

THE PROPERTY BREAKDOWN
Ground floor:
Living area – Comfortable seating, Log burner, Smart TV with Netflix.
Open Plan Kitchen and dining area – Cooker, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, Nutribullet, hand-held blender, quartz dining table with space for all guests.
Bedroom 2 – Twin beds, wardrobe space, bedside tables and lamps.
Bathroom – Bath, overhead shower, toilet and washbasin.

First Floor:
Bedroom 1 – King Bed, walk-in wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps,
Ensuite - Walk in Shower, toilet and sink
Storage room - Washing machine and storage space

Outdoors:
Games room – With a pool table, table tennis, dart board, sofa and fridge (shared with Spindlestone House, Spindlestone Cottage and Birdsong Cottage).
Garden – Shared with Birdsong Cottage with garden furniture and barbecue (the garden is not enclosed)

Parking is available outside the property.

Babbling Burn Cottage is a modern stone-built holiday cottage sleeping 4 guests across 2 floors, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. The property has been purposefully designed as a holiday home with no expense spared. The open-planned living area on the ground floor boasts a log burner, a quartz dining table, and a fully resourced kitchen. This holiday cottage is perfect for a small break with family and/or friends, but if your party is larger the cottage can also be booked alongside other properties on the site (Spindlestone House, Spindlestone Cottage or the adjoining Birdsong Cottage).

As part of the Bamburgh First Collection the property also includes Netflix, a portable Bose Bluetooth speaker, easy lighting fire logs, and a box of games like Scrabble, Cluedo, and Monopoly.

The owners also kindly supply a hand-selected welcome pack and a voucher for a pound of the famous Bamburgh Banger sausages (redeemable within the village).

Guests can claim up to two free rounds (2x people for 1x round) of golf per property booked at Bamburgh Castle Golf Club and/or enjoy a free game of tennis on the village green beneath the castle, as well as access to additional leisure club facilities in the area.

Spindlestone House, is situated next to Waren Burn. Just a stones throw from the front door you will find the picturesque setting of the Burn flowing under the nearby Spindlestone bridge.

This Northumberland holiday cottage is also only half a mile from the Budle Bay bird sanctuary and less than a 10-minute drive from the historic seaside village of Bamburgh. Here, the renowned Bamburgh Castle stands tall, casting its majestic shadow over the miles of sandy beaches that stretch to the north and the quaint village green to the west. Recently, for the 4th year in a row Bamburgh has earned the distinction crowned best seaside resort by consumer group Which?, receiving a 5 star rating for its beaches, seafront, peace and quiet, scenery and value for money.. Within the village, visitors are greeted by a charming array of shops, pubs, restaurants, tea houses, and cafes, as well as one of Britain’s most scenic golf clubs, where guests of Bamburgh First are granted the privilege of complimentary play when no competitions are taking place.

A mere 20-minute drive away lies the market town of Alnwick, a historical gem boasting the iconic Alnwick Castle, the enchanting Alnwick Gardens, and the renowned Barter Books. Northward, a 25-minute journey takes you to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, while the picturesque Cheviot Hills and the vast expanse of Northumberland National Park beckon just 20 minutes to the west. For those seeking maritime adventures, Seahouses, a gateway to boat trips to the Farne Islands, is a short 15-minute drive away. Venturing southward, the legendary Hadrian’s Wall can be reached in under two hours.
