The location was as expected and fine for my needs. It had grocery shops nearby. The reception staff were helpful. The bed was comfortable and the wifi worked.
Apart from that, it was poor experience bordering on terrible. The room was damp. There was mould all the way around the walls up to a depth of around half a metre. This was also evident in the corridors, so there must be a structural fault. I could not open the door to the balcony to allow air to circulate. I became ill with a severe cough and chest infection, from which I have not recovered. This property should not be advertised to the market. It is a health hazard. In addition, some of the fittings were in poor condition. There was mould on the cupboards, the working surfaces felt grimy, the outer door of the fridge was detached from the fridge door, parts of the furniture trimmings were flaking, the bathroom soap dispenser did not work, there was no tea towel, no bath mat, only two coat hangers, no safety box, no dish washing sponge or washing up liquid and no pasta/vegetable strainer. All in all, this was a very miserable stay. I was trapped, since I had paid for six nights, the charge for which was un-refundable. Thank goodness it was not for longer. If this was my apartment, I would be embarrassed to let it out and fully expectant of complaint. Please take this review as one.
