Beautiful New Forest cottage with direct forest access. Ponies at the gate!
Ramblers is a charming New Forest cottage for up to 4 guests, ideal for cyclists, walkers and children, located only 0.5 mile from Burley Village with its quaint array of shops, tea-rooms and pubs. Very comfortable modern accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms (1 king and 1 super-king or 2 single beds), 2 bathrooms (both with toilets), 2 living rooms (both with flat screen TVs and 1 with wood-burner for cozy nights in), fully equipped kitchen and separate dining area. Wi-fi throughout - fibre connected internet. A country cottage garden with three separate seating areas and an open forest outlook with direct forest access. Wonderful dark skies. Wildlife galore and ponies at the gate!

Very well presented in a truly rural part of the forest. Clean and tidy with tasteful decoration. Kitchen was well equipped and had all we needed for the duration of the stay. Our daughters were delighted to wake up and see ponies and cows right outside the property…Would be happy to recommend

Beautiful and well located cottage
Ramblers Cottage was clean, well set up and comfortable. Location In the New Forest couldn't have been better with everywhere so accessible along with the ponies visiting Burley Lawn every day of our stay. We were lucky with the hot weather and the cottage and garden kept us cool in the evenings. It is a cottage we would like to visit again and we have no hesitation in recommending it.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Dirty property, 1/2” of dust behind the bed, and we were all covered in bites (either fleas or bed bugs). Also, the owner (Sue) accused us of leaving a stain on the bedding which was there when we checked in which she wouldn’t believe us. Either the property wasn’t cleaned after the last people or it was a deliberate tactic? She charged us an extra 116 for this! DO NOT STAY HERE!

I am sorry your experience has been so different from our previous guests over the last 7 years who have given top rated reviews. All linen is professionally cleaned and it was unstained when the beds were made up. It is unfortunate you did not report the stains, bed bugs and lack of cleanliness during your stay. I can assure you we have no bedbugs or fleas and pride ourselves in keeping a high standard of cleanliness. As shown on the receipt I sent you we only use top quality bed linen hence the £116 for a Superking Duvet cover.
