New Orleans Craftsmen with 3 independent bedrooms, and off street parking. Perfect for couples, a family, or a large group. Just blocks to the best stretch of Magazine street. The French Quarter is just a street car ride away!
Welcome to our Historic Irish Channel home. The space is perfect for a group trip or family vacation. The three independent and private bedrooms (will not be walking through) are a rare find in a New Orleans home. Even harder to find is the off street parking so close to the best stretch of magazine street. Please note, the 3rd bedroom(yellow bunk room) is very small and there are no windows in this room, ideal for children.
You will have unrestricted access to your side of the house (it's a duplex). You will have access to a shared patio with grill and shared laundry room. You will also have a parking spot in the in the rear of the house and for the monster trucks that won't fit between the 100 year old houses, there tends to be street parking available.
As much or little as you want. We are more than happy to help plan your trip and share inside information on what is going on in the neighborhood and the city. But if you want to explore New Orleans without bias we understand that too.
My favorite things about the house. You are literally within blocks to 3 of the top 10 Restaurants (Commander's Palace, Coquette, and Atchafalaya) according to (website hidden). The neighborhood is one of the most walk-able neighborhood in the city with the highest concentration of boutiques, restaurants, and bars that the locals frequent. You are in the physical center of the city so nothing is more than 15 minutes away. There is also a pharmacy, grocery store, Starbucks, and locally owned coffee shop all within a few blocks. Lafayette Cementary is only 4 blocks away. Mardi Gras parades and the street car are all within a 5 minute walk.
You can walk two blocks to take a bus to the French Quarter or a few more to take the street car. Uber or a cab are currently only $8 to the French Quarter or Superdome.
