On our organic farm, we grow a variety of crops, from olive trees, to seasonal traditional cereals. Part of our 18 hectares land is also dedicated to reforestation, with a large proportion of woodland, including a walnut plantation.
The “agriturismo” is made of two main buildings: the main house which is divided in a big apartment upstairs (“il Casale”) and a small flat (“il Nido”) and a communal room downstairs; the “Apartments”, a separate unit with two independent accommodations (“Appartamento Verde” and “Appartamento Blu”).

La Casetta del Sole sits on top of a sun-loving hill, overlooking the stunning valleys, the Amiata and Cetona mountains, lake Chiusi, and medieval villages such as, Panicale, Paciano, Città della Pieve, Chiusi, Montepulciano.
You can access the site via a private, well maintained, old country road.

The staff is made up of Annalisa and Uli, biologist and agronomist: we are the point of reference for any problem that may arise during your stay, and to give you tourist information regarding the surroundings, local events and curiosities regarding the area; we are present on site because we live in one of the apartments.
The Il Casale apartment is perfect for large groups and families, up to 7 people! The apartment on the first floor is accessed via a staircase and a small covered terrace overlooking the Umbrian hills to the south. Il Casale is a beautiful 100m2 apartment on the 1st floor, consisting of two double bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two beds), a single bedroom, a bathroom with large and modern shower, a large eat-in kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher, a living area which includes: a dining corner, lounge with typical perfectly functioning Umbrian fireplace, mezzanine used for reading and television with double sofa bed. The apartment has a gazebo for exclusive use near the swimming pool, with table and chairs. The farmhouse is equipped with gas heating and is nicely furnished with antique furniture and rustic style; the ceilings have exposed beams and the floors are in parquet and antique terracotta.

The “Il Nido” apartment is perfect for couples, small families, cycle travelers and pilgrims! It is a lovely mini apartment of approximately 40 m2 located on the ground floor. It has a mini kitchen, a living room with television and double sofa bed and a bedroom with a French bed (140 cm wide) with a single bed as a mezzanine. Is there a shower in the bathroom. Disabled people can also access it.
The “Blu” and “Verde” apartments are approximately 60 m2 each, both with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a living area with kitchenette and living room. The rooms of each apartment have 2 beds, for a total of 6 beds each, including the sofa bed. All accommodations are equipped with a stove with free use of wood and gas heating. With the exception of the bathrooms, all the floors are in original terracotta, recovered from the old stables with inserts of river stones.

The bright apartments have a large covered terrace, where it is possible to eat for a good part of the year and are surrounded by lots of green space outside, with an enchanting view of the surrounding hills.

The following is at your disposal during your stay: swimming pool, open from the beginning of June until the end of September, relaxation area, large garden, outdoor barbecue, ping-pong table, laundry, children's bed, cot and high chair (at extra cost), linen included (on request we also offer a daily linen change service at extra cost), free WiFi connection, car parking. Pets are welcome on request, at a one-off cost of €30.
