Maiden Moor, a semi-detached holiday home, consists of a kitchen/diner with dining seating, washer/dryer, oven, hob, and fridge, and a sitting room with TV and open fire. The bedrooms consist of a double, twin, and single. There is a bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, and basin, and WC, and a cloakroom with basin and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed front garden with patio, gravelled area, and picnic bench, and off-road parking for one car. Additional free parking is available nearby. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Make memories with a stay at Maiden Moor. Cot and highchair available upon request - guests need to bring own linen for the cot. Local café next door. Hotel catering available for non-residents.

Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.
