Short Stay in Croydon

We chose to stay in Croydon because it was recommended by a friend. The house was very close to the train station and easily accessible. There was a local shop very close to the train station which was incredible helpful. We found the house to be sufficient for the price. We did experience a few issues during our stay. Day two came with a small ant infestation in the front bedroom. I informed the owner and he apologizes immediately. However, we had one more night to scheduled and we just had to move our things and try to keep them at bay. The bathroom was fine; however we were concerned because the flooring around the bathtub was very soft and we had to mind our feet when getting in an out of the tub, as we felt we might fall through the floor.

Thanks for staying with us and leaving a review! I’m glad you enjoyed your stay overall and so I am quite surprised by the 3/5 star review. It is summer period here and so there is a risk of ants getting in as the property is on the ground floor, especially if there is food around. There was a small number of ants in the front bedroom that you sent me a picture of. This has never happened before so I apologised for this. In terms of the bathroom floor, we are aware of the slight dip but it is required for the structural integrity of the bathtub, I can assure you that the floor is safe. Overall, I don’t feel this is enough to drop us 2 stars but thank you for staying!
