We were really disappointed with this property. Unfortunately, the standards were not what we expected or what was advertised.On arrival, the bedding on the beds was stained and dirty, with hair on it, and there were no proper duvets or covers provided for four adults. When we raised this, we were told new bedding would be brought at 8pm. Instead, at 8:45pm, a bag was left outside the door with just one throw, a fitted sheet, and a single duvet cover – completely inadequate for four people.The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and smelled bad, cupboards had damp sheets folded on hangers inside, and the living room door to the outside would not close, which left the whole room draughty. On top of that, the TV wasn’t working. Terrible WiFi connection so TV wouldn’t work. We were told someone would come to fix it but nobody came inside – we had to replace the batteries ourselves just to get the remote working.We felt completely let down. Instead of addressing the issues properly, the host only dropped items at the door and didn’t follow through on promises to come and fix things. At that point, we no longer felt comfortable staying and left early, asking for a full refund:.. (we are still waiting for this!)This was a very disappointing experience, and we would not recommend this property unless the host resolves these problems and improves both cleanliness, upgrades the WiFi. Supplies adequate bedding. Fixes the door as this has clearly been an issue for many months.

It wasn't 'luxury' as stated. Photos weren't accurate. Chipped worksurface and flooring; stained carpet; no matching mugs, cups, plates, glasses or cutlery (like student accommodation); 'smart tv' had no aerial lead and didn't/couldn't hook up to wifi; wifi very slow; no shower screen in ensuite; two single beds were actually a trundle bed which werent comfortable for adults. The patio door in lounge opened but 2nd time we used it, it wouldn't close and had to be left in vented position for 4 nights (no-one came to repair it). Plus there were dirty, mouldy mugs and glasses in dishwasher on arrival.

Very poor property. Not up to VRBO standards

After the property manager let us in she started cleaning the apartment, changed to beds and did the laundry. You expect the place to be ready at check in. No towels in any of the bathrooms and when the host brought towels it was 1 towel each for 4 days. Wifi was terrible. Sliding door broke when opened and we could not close it. Property manager did not care. There was no light in one of the bathrooms (a safety issue) and no shower curtin in the main bathroom.

Needs Improvements; Property Manager great.

Visited London before heading out to a wedding venue. Arrived, easy to check in. Property was mostly surface clean, but needs a lot of improvements. Carpets stained in both bedrooms. Holes in walls where stuff was once mounted, stickers on furniture of old kids room. Mattress in small room was extremely worn out. Issues reported: Patio door stuck open. Manager came and got it closed but did not use the rest of the time, several lighting issues, one being in small bathroom where daughter had to use a cell phone for lighting. One suggestion is have a binder with property details (especially for abroad travelers) that provides info on how certain things work, such as door locks, lights and such. Overall: It provides a safe place to sleep, but unless improvements are made, would not stay again.

Very Responsive Host at Good Location

The flat is as described, but a little tired and should have been cleaner. Fortunately, the host was very responsive whenever a problem arose. The location is great for transit, with busses within a block and the underground a 15-minute walk away. And all that Battersea Power Station has to offer is only a ten-minute walk!
