Hinton House is a stunning, large country residence in historic Winchester and the South Downs National Park. It is also within 30 minutes of both the South Coast and the New Forest. Travel from London is easy, whether by car or by train to nearby Winchester. Excellent fishing is available in the nearby river.

The property sleeps up to 12 guests across individually styled bedrooms, many with en-suite or private bathrooms. Each room features plush bedding, crisp linens, and tasteful décor reflecting the home’s heritage, paired with hotel-level comfort.

At its heart is a spacious, fully equipped kitchen—ideal for group meals, brunches, or private chef experiences. There are several reception rooms including an elegant sitting room, a games room with pool table, sofas and large TV, and a grand dining room for celebratory feasts. French doors from the kitchen lead to a large garden terrace with outdoor seating.

The landscaped gardens include a heated pool, garden bar with sofas, sweeping lawns, mature trees, and a sun-drenched terrace—perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. There is private parking for multiple vehicles.

Hinton House is dog-friendly (for well-behaved dogs over six months), non-smoking, and limited to the maximum occupancy unless otherwise agreed. The area offers walks, fishing, charming villages, local pubs, and easy access to Winchester’s shops, restaurants, and historic attractions.
