Madeira Protea Retreat combines the authenticity of a traditional Madeiran house with the comfort of modern living, creating the perfect space to relax and explore the beautiful island of Madeira.
Here, you can wake up to the sound of nature, breathe in the scent of the garden, and enjoy unforgettable moments on the most beautiful island in the world. We are really happy to provide you with suggestions about local activities or restaurants as well!

Discover the charm of Madeira in this carefully renovated traditional house. Surrounded by nature, with views of the mountains and the sea, it is the ideal place to relax in comfort and privacy.

Located in Campanário, just minutes from Ribeira Brava and Funchal, this two-story house offers the perfect balance between tranquility and accessibility to explore the island.

- Accommodates up to 4 guests (up to 2 children under the age of 3 are welcome free of charge). Two cribs/toddler beds and 2 high chairs are available free of charge upon request

- 2 en-suite bedrooms with air conditioning, electric shutters, blackout curtains, and private bathrooms with showers. The blue room also features an LED mirror with Bluetooth and a Smart TV with Google TV

- Living room with sitting and dining areas, sofa bed, and Smart TV with Google TV

- Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, espresso machine, immersion blender, and more

- Fast Wi-Fi throughout the house

- Laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board, and drying rack

- Private parking for 2 cars

- 1 additional guest toilet

- Private Space with Office and Gym: Located at parking level, this exclusive guest space offers a modern and functional environment. It features a workspace with an ergonomic chair, MSI monitor, Smart TV with Google TV, and a footrest, perfect for guests who need to work remotely.
Next to it, the gym is equipped with a treadmill, weight bench, and other fitness equipment to help you stay active during your stay.

- Access to the house is only via stairs

- Dedicated workspace: Starting in October, guests will have access to a dedicated workspace, ideal for remote work. Located in a separate building from the house, at the level of the parking area. Currently under installation. Photos will be added soon.

Outdoor Area

- Heated pool (25–28 °C) available free of charge, with views of the green mountains and the ocean horizon, sun loungers, and an outdoor shower partially heated by solar energy

- Barbecue area and wood-fired oven for unforgettable outdoor meals

Before booking, please note:

• Entire accommodation with private entrance
• Maximum capacity of 4 guests and 2 children until 3 years in cribs
• Pets are not allowed
• Smoking is not permitted indoors
• Heated pool available all year round, free of charge between 25 and 28 degrees. Additional fee of 15€ a day required from 29 degrees to 32.
• We recommend a car to easily explore the island
• Check-in from 4 PM | Check-out until 11 AM
• Please respect the space and observe quiet hours between 10 PM and 8 AM
