The property includes two beautifully restored stone houses that preserve their rural soul while offering the comfort of modern amenities. Inside, the earthy tones of granite walls meet cozy wooden details, creating a welcoming and grounded atmosphere.



The sleeping arrangements are perfect for group stays, featuring bunk beds and single beds spread throughout spacious shared rooms. Altogether, up to 20 guests can be accommodated comfortably.



Whether it’s a yoga retreat, a creative workshop, or a long-overdue gathering of friends, the layout supports connection: a large communal kitchen, multiple dining spaces, open lounges, and quiet corners for reflection.



And outside? Vines, fruit trees, wild paths, a private waterfall, and the endless Douro landscape set the mood for grounding and awe.

Getting Around:

Abrigo dos Maias is reachable by car. We highly recommend having a car. However, you will receive the GPS coordinates before the check-in.
