The apartment was great. Has a wonderful view. The owner was readily available for any of our needs. Overall it was a great stay.

If you rely on taxis, location is everything. My trip was 3 days. I did not consider the amount of time waiting on taxis because nothing much is within walking distance. For example a 5 minute ride to the bank for money exchange could take 30 minutes for a taxi to arrive. Property just did not see many taxis and taxis were a bit reluctant to travel to this property.Arrival times had me waiting at airport for pickup at 1230am. I was warned not to trust taxis at night so I prepaid DOMINICANPLUS who said they monitored flights and would know where to find me and when based on their experience. They were not there! And my calls even to their emergency number were not returned. They claimed they were there but I have no calls trying to connect. Taxis were nice enough and nothing to fear. ...just expensive.Property manager of C301 was responsive when called but it was obvious there was no check of the condo before I arrived. There was no potable bottled water available. And he did not know this. I could not brush teeth until the next day. AC worked great. TV service was marginal. Manager could not get all the Roku channels to work and Netflix didn't work until he came out with the water. Should have been set up prior to my arrival. Hot water was good.But the overriding mistake I made was that transportation from this property is time consuming. There is only one small snack bar restaurant on propertyCarry local pesos. USD acceptance is hit and miss

The Emmanuel is very attentive and resolved and oversight on towels personally. He is in communication with us , but not evasive allowing us to enjoy our stay. I highly recommend it for a quite getaway
