Loves our stay here, lodge was lovely and well laid out.
Loves our stay here, lodge was lovely and well laid out. Had everything we needed. Sofa was very comfy as well as the bed. The area was very quite peaceful. There was a number of dust webs and some rubbish left behind the bath. Also bits of rubbish in the bushes around the park. However we loved our stay here and would definitely recommend and will most likely return here again!

Great lodge, well equipped kitchen, lovely luxurious bathroom.
Great lodge, well equipped kitchen, lovely luxurious bathroom. TV a bit big for the size of the lounge area. Quite rainy weather for our break so the covered deck with the star lights in the roof was much appreciated when using our hot tub!

Lovely lodge with very comfortable bed & great size bathroom.
Lovely lodge with very comfortable bed & great size bathroom. Everything you need in the kitchen was supplied. We did find the lounge flooring very slippery, also you could smell a slight odour of dog on the sofa. Hot tub was lovely & warm but unfortunately not all jets worked or the lights. Just a few minor touches would make it perfect

There is little more to say than this site is perfect for us and our needs.
There is little more to say than this site is perfect for us and our needs. Great value for money, well maintained facilities including a daily check of the hot tub, comfortable accommodation with a private parking space. Good wifi, good central heating and a fully stocked kitchen with pots and pans. We love it here (have visited twice before). Stay here. You will not regret it.

Really enjoyed our stay, lovely accommodation and good facilities in the lodge (bathroom was really good). Grounds were great, lots of wild flowers, lodges were well spaced out, staff very helpful. Lodge was very clean when we arrived and everything worked as it should apart from a remote control to the lounge TV and the wall clock needing new batteries. The only negatives were a very creaky bed, the mattress was quite soft and is probably getting to the point where it will need replacing soon (still comfortable for now though) and the jets on the hot tub could have been stronger. The site is really quiet (out in the country but only 10 minutes by car to shops etc) and centrally situated for all major attractions. Very dog friendly with a short dog walk area and a little dog welcome pack in the lodge. Also, the deck area is fully enclosed so good for dogs (or children). In the field next door is a gliding club and it was fascinating to watch the gliders be launched and glide silently around. Lots of birds, butterflies and other wildlife on site including some bats we saw one evening. Would definitely recommend this site.

A lovely site but parking our car was a fair walk with luggage as we couldn’t park anywhere near. Not great in icy weather conditions. Maybe providing wheel barrows would be a good idea as we had a lot of stuff. Good job we aren’t old! We loved our stay here. The lodge was beautiful and we would definitely stay again. There were a few issues…the sofa was awful. Not comfortable at all. There was no throw or cushions. We took the duvet and the pillows off the bed to try and make it comfortable. The jets didn’t work in the hot tub so it was like sitting in a hot bath. We loved the fact that the hot tub was covered though. We had 3 drink glasses, 1 coaster, and the bottle opener was broken so we couldn’t open bottled beer. A pirex jug is definitely needed. These things were just annoying but we managed without. We would definitely stay again as it was lovely overall but would try and get a lodge with a better sofa. Great location too.
