The Imperial Suite Sforza faces right on the beautiful Piazza Sforza Cesarini that takes its name from the neighboring building of this ancient and noble family.
In 1893 , the statue of Terenzio Mamiani della Rovere was placed at the center of the square, later moved to the place where he still is, in via Acciaioli.
At the center of Piazza Sforza Cesarini it was instead placed the statue dedicated to Nicola Spedalieri , at that time coming from the square of S. Andrea della Valle. The decision of realizing a statue dedicated to Nicola Spedalieri occurred in 1890. A few years after the First Centenary of the lawyer's death, which occurred in 1795 the competition for the realization of the monument was banished in 1894 and was chosen sculptor Rutelli. The red granite pedestal measures 6 meters high, while the statue measure 4.
The statue stands with a long lower open frock coat;the left hand is holding the essay "RIghts of Man", while the right presents a strange position, thumb and index closed joined , gesture that in rome takes on a meaning quite vulgar.
In the 50’s of the twentieth century the statue was moved to Piazza Sforza Cesarini, officially for traffic reasons, but according to other sources it was just because of the gesture of the right hand, partly because it seemed that in dialogue with the angel placed on the facade of the church of S. Andrea della Valle strangely the angels stands with the same gesture of the right hand.

As it takes only 10 minutes by walk to get to the most interesting sites of the historical centre such as Piazza Navona . Campo De Fiori, the Vatican, Colosseum, the Pantheon and so on, location is priceless!
