About Alessandro

YourSuiteRome is leader of handmade hospitality in Rome.

Our property are all located in the heart of the very historical center of the city at a short walking distance from the most popular attractions. We've learned that the finest homes are made with love and labour that's why hospitality for us isn't just about the prettiest location!

For us it counts -a friendly face to meet you , beds made with pristine sheets, the towels and toiletries taken care of to our exacting standards. Evermore to guarantee the best experience we're available any time you need us ,but we step back when you don't.Most importantly, we know what it takes to make a home yours, for a long or just a little while, it's a labour of love and we can't wait to share it with you!

Why Alessandro chose Rome

The Imperial Suite Sforza faces right on the beautiful Piazza Sforza Cesarini that takes its name from the neighboring building of this ancient and noble family.

In 1893 , the statue of Terenzio Mamiani della Rovere was placed at the center of the square, later moved to the place where he still is, in via Acciaioli.

At the center of Piazza Sforza Cesarini it was instead placed the statue dedicated to Nicola Spedalieri , at that time coming from the square of S. Andrea della Valle. The decision of realizing a statue dedicated to Nicola Spedalieri occurred in 1890. A few years after the First Centenary of the lawyer's death, which occurred in 1795 the competition for the realization of the monument was banished in 1894 and was chosen sculptor Rutelli. The red granite pedestal measures 6 meters high, while the statue measure 4.

The statue stands with a long lower open frock coat;the left hand is holding the essay "RIghts of Man", while the right presents a strange position, thumb and index closed joined , gesture that in rome takes on a meaning quite vulgar.

In the 50’s of the twentieth century the statue was moved to Piazza Sforza Cesarini, officially for traffic reasons, but according to other sources it was just because of the gesture of the right hand, partly because it seemed that in dialogue with the angel placed on the facade of the church of S. Andrea della Valle strangely the angels stands with the same gesture of the right hand.

What makes this apartment unique

As it takes only 10 minutes by walk to get to the most interesting sites of the historical centre such as Piazza Navona . Campo De Fiori, the Vatican, Colosseum, the Pantheon and so on, location is priceless!

In addition to that, the neighborhood beeing as eclectic, multicultural and original, offers the visitors a unique and unforgettable experience; restaurants, wineries, art galleries, old libraries and antique dealers provide you the roman authentic stay you are looking for!

The apartment stands for its cozy atmosphere, the finely detailed living room and the efficient use of spaces! An hotel suite can never match the beauty of this apartment nor provide a couple the same "do as the romans do" experience!

Way more than we expected!

  • 5 of 5

Trying to find the apartment at around 5am could have been a nightmare. It turned out to be absolutely the perfect time since there were few cars on the road (in the middle of Rome). It is situated perfectly in the center of a walker's paradise. Everything is truly accessible if you're fairly athletic and have great sneakers on! We walked for hours and experienced Rome to the full. However, if you're driving in, be prepared to navigate into an insanely thin alleyway to back in your vehicle to unload luggage. With that said, we never used our vehicle except to park it and have it ready for our next destination. Everywhere else was truly within walking distance. Alessandro was awesome. He was probably up at all hours of the morning to be at the ready to welcome us when we arrived from driving down from Milan. He kept texting us as we drove down and never complained on meeting us at such an early hour. He was polite and very hospitable even spending more time answering all of our excited touristy questions after checking us in... even though he probably wanted to crawl into his bed. Speaking of beds, the post claims 5 bedrooms. However, since one bedroom has another overhanging bedroom sharing part of a ceiling, they counted both spaces as 1 bedroom. There are actually 6 bedrooms! We were 2 families totaling 8 persons and we didn't use 2 of the bedrooms. As a slight complaint, there is a washing machine, but no dryer (which is quite common in Italy). However, there was nowhere to hang our clothes to line dry outdoors. Instead, we hung it in the top bedroom's closet area and they never truly dried. On a final note, one of the families left an item in a drawer and Alessandro did everything to get it back to us while we were in another city in Italy. His hospitality and customer service went above and beyond normal standards. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Alessandro!

Great for a crowd

  • 4 of 5

All the other reviews were super helpful. The place was as expected. Clean, centrally located and plenty of beds. There are actually 7 beds so we had lots of room to spread out. We walked everywhere from the apartment. Pamela was very responsive and was able to help with all our needs. Can't beat the price. Only downside is the windows face onto a Piazza with a busy cafe below. The noise from restaurant and the Main Street just beyond kept some in our group up until late at night.

Great apartment for large group

  • 5 of 5

Our family group of 8 had a great stay at the Imperial Suite. We were 2 couples and the rest teens. Everyone had their own bed. The four bathrooms, plus an additional shower, were also a plus. The apartment is on the 4th floor of an historic building located right on a tree-lined piazza (there is a small elevator). Several restaurants are located around the piazza and were great for eating after a long day of exploring.

Allesandro and his staff met us as scheduled and responded quickly to our questions during the stay. The kitchen is well equipped and there were plenty of towels for everyone.

The apartment is conveniently located. About a 15-minute walk to St. Peter's, and a 10-15 minute walk to the Pantheon. Also, the bus stop is located about a block away. There is a great gelateria very close by - I think it was called Sweet Life.

One think to note, is that there is not an electric clothes dryer -- just a drying rack. But we had fun with it and hung a few things out the windows just like the locals.

We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Roman Apartment

  • 5 of 5

Two families of four stayed in Alessandro's apartment for 4 nights. What a wonderful setting in the square with three restaurants below and a location that can't be beat. All metro tourist sights within a 10-20 minute walk. Many more restaurants and grocery stores within a 5 min walk. The apartment was great with more beds than we needed. The four baths were also great. The living, dining and kitchen areas were great for our group. We had breakfast every morning and then pre dinner and evening snacks every day . Alessandro even decorated the apartment for the holidays including a Christmas tree w/lights which we all enjoyed upon arrival and throughout our trip. Valentina was terrific in meeting our needs like setting up transportation from the airport and to the train station. We would stay here again no doubts. Thanks for the great stay everyone.

Car: not necessary

The apartment definitely benefits from a privileged position for those who desire to be carried away and live again the atmosphere that made Rome the most beautiful city in the world!

Steps away from Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori, the Imperial Forums, the Vatican City, the Pantheon! Even closer St. Angel Castle and Piazza Farnese, with its outstanding Palazzo Farnese, probably one of the most beautiful buildings of the Eternal City, and Via Giulia, which crosses the heart of Rome, offering its visitors a unique landscape, among churches, ancient workshops and aristocratic buildings.

The district, always active and overheated, hosts among the most characteristic restaurants, wineries and cocktail bars, perfect side courses to what is surely going to be the best time you will ever have in Rome!
