About this property

Large chalet with private hot tub and great views close to North Conway town

Our beautiful vacation home is located in the desirable Birch Hill area at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Ideally positioned for the winter season with Cranmore mountain being only a 10 minute drive, Attitash 15 mins and Wildcat 25 mins. Several other slopes are within an hour's drive. Right now, ski conditions are great locally, so come on down.

The open plan style offers ample space for up to 8 people and there are stunning mountain views from the high end hot tub located on the back deck.

The main level comprises the kitchen, diner, lounge and ¾ bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and many extras to provide you many of the comforts of home. The lounge has vaulted ceilings, an oversized wood-burning river stone fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the mountains. Comfortable seating, large smart TV (with cable), a 7’ combo games table (pool/air hockey) and a variety of games in the cupboard provide entertainment for all.

In the large open loft space there is a queen bed and 2 full beds. There is plenty of storage space in the form of storage chests and a small chest of drawers. In addition there is a foosball table for the young at heart.

A fully fitted basement provides comfortable accommodation with two spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom has a 45" Smart TV, a seating area, and a walk-in closet. The other bedroom sleeps four, in two built-in adult size bunk beds, and has a 24’ flat screen TV. A full bathroom also contains a private washer and dryer.

Our secluded ¾ acre lot is surrounded by trees on 3 sides and the cul-de-sac. The ground slopes quite steeply in places that enhances the stunning views but the meadow style area gives plenty of places to enjoy the outdoors.

When making your booking please ensure that you include the planned number of guests in your party. Notify me as soon as possible of any changes. A 20% discount is automatically applied for bookings of a week.

If your party is 7 or more persons then I will require a period of 2 days after your departure for extended cleaning (in line with recommendations), so please consider this when checking your vacation dates as this is not currently automatically assessed by the VRBO systems.

The Chalet is in a quiet location. Excellent for relaxing. Also, not a far drive to access shopping, swimming or dining out. The cleanliness and accommodations impeccable. The hot tub with a view of the mountain was an added bonus.Hated to leave. Definitely a 5 star!!

Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood, not too far from North Conway. We appreciated how communicative the host was both before and during the stay. The kitchen was well provisioned, and great for our large family. We enjoyed grilling on the back deck, as well. The kids loved playing the games! Foosball and air hockey were particularly big hits. Laundry was easy and accessible, and we truly had everything we needed to enjoy a beautiful weekend in the mountains.

The only issue that we think would help is there should be extra paper towels and bars of soap in the showers. These are articles that most people don't bring with them.I have rented our cottage here in Maine for many years & always make sure there is sufficient toiletries and clean up items available.Otherwise we were very pleased with the cabin and would recommend to anyone.Thank you Paul for being a very good host.Terry

We do try to address most requirements and left a new large bottle of “Everybody Soap” also four different body washes in lower level bathroom cabinet along with shampoos and conditioners. The upstairs bath cabinet has small bath soaps. There is hand soap in both baths and kitchen where we also leave a number of dish towels, two dry cloths and a small roll of Paper towels.

Literally SUCH a gracious host! He gave me so many restaurant suggestions for me and my friends for a nice night out! There was no shortage of games and activities within the home: movies galore, board games, pool, air hockey, a hot tub; the list goes on! It's an a very quiet neighborhood, with some pretty amazing views, you can some peaks right iver the trees! Everything was spotless, and the kitchen being massive, allowed us to make some fun lunches and just a generally good time, as the 5 of us could comfortably fit around the table and eat together. I was really blown away when we got there, the home is HUGE. And if it matters, the central AC was ice cold and kept us very comfortable after coming home from some challenging hikes. I hope anyone who stays here appreciates everything about it, like my friends and I did!I can't thank you enough, Paul!This was seriously the best accommodation I've EVER stayed at. I will absolutely be back when the time is right!

Amazing Family Getaway

I have been a regular visitor to this area for many years, I am however a UK resident. Now retired, I love to spend time with my family and friends, never more so than when I am here.

I fell in love with this area back in 2000 but found and brought this property in 2008. Regularly rated as a top ski destination, North Conway is in fact a great all year round resort. The town and Mount Washington valley offers fantastic amenities, numerous attractions, stunning mountain scenery and tax free shopping all available minutes from our home.

I have great support from my local property manager, Valerie and a network of friends and service providers in the Valley to keep my home in a tip-top condition.

Why they chose this property

Regularly rated as a top ski destination, North Conway is in fact a great all year round resort. Fantastic amenities, numerous attractions, stunning mountain scenery and tax free shopping are available minutes from our home.

What makes this property unique

Large and comfortable, a well equipped home from home. I spend between 5 and 8 weeks a year here myself and it is maintained to be my home as well as yours. The awesome views across the deck to the Moat mountains from the house or the hot tub are always enticing.
