Please note: This property is located on a working farm and was formally a traditional stone farm building set around an uneven cobbled medieval yard.. The Stables blends rustic charm with modern comfort, both inside and out. Enter directly from the stone patio with garden furniture into a welcoming lounge featuring a striking granite inglenook fireplace, original stone walls, and an old slate floor that reflect the cottage’s heritage. Deep sofas and an easy chair offer a cosy spot to enjoy the Freeview TV and DVD player.

The thick stone walls keep the interior cool in summer, while central heating and an electric flame-effect fire ensure warmth in cooler months. A dining area with a circular table sits opposite a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing anything from a feast to a simple supper.

A stone staircase with a quirky horseshoe banister leads to two inviting bedrooms. The main bedroom boasts a four-poster double bed, original roof timbers, and a Juliet balcony offering views over the patio and countryside. It also features an en-suite bathroom. The twin room includes two single beds and an en-suite.

From your peaceful rural base at Old Newham Farm near St Genny’s, you’re perfectly placed to enjoy all that North Cornwall has to offer. Just a short drive away, explore the dramatic coastline with stunning beaches like Crackington Haven, Widemouth Bay, and Trebarwith Strand, ideal for sunbathing, rock pooling, or surfing. Many of these beaches are dog-friendly, so your four-legged friend can enjoy the adventure too. The picturesque harbour village of Boscastle is close by, with its charming shops, riverside walks, and the fascinating Museum of Witchcraft and Magic. Wander the scenic South West Coast Path for breathtaking sea views and access to hidden coves.
