It is hard to itemize all that went wrong with this rental. We were on a 4 week tour; this was so far and away the worst lodging experience ever. Where to start? Here are the lowlights:- We started by sitting on a curb for about an hour for the check-in attendant to arrive; no bench, no WC, but thankfully it wasn’t raining.- Mold, mold, mold. In the main bathroom. In the living room wall (that was just painted over). The dryer lint trap was coated with mold. - When we got in, there was no hot water whatsoever. It was well over a day before we could take a shower, which was a huge burden after having travelled 2 days from the US to get there. No excuse for this whatsoever. The hot water tank had been turned off.- A completely dysfunctional kitchen; 1 setting, no knives or cutting board, no microwave (it’s 2026…).- We killed multiple very large cockroaches. In the kitchen.- Several cabinet doors were completely off their hinges, such that the cabinets were unusable. - BIG ONE: An electrical circuit was pulled completely out of the wall in the kitchen, causing a serious fire or shock risk. - Little things: No drying rack for clothes. 2 pool loungers were broken. One key even though 2 couples. WiFi erratic all day where ever you were in the house. We submit this review as rental unit owner in the US, so we’re not novices. At least props for the young housekeeping lady. She did a yeoman’s effort trying to rectify things.
