Les Encarnes a large historic property is perfectly suited to families or friends to spend time together. Our guests have private use of the entire house which is connected but can also be used as two standalone "units", "The Chalet" upstairs and "The Apartment" downstairs.
The house sleeps 16+ guests across 7 bedrooms with 12 beds and 6.5 bathrooms, with large open living areas to eat and relax together, mountain views and big comfy beds! Located close to the slopes with very easy access to skiing, restaurants and shops in Les Gets Morzine and Avoriaz
The House and Area:
Les Encarnes has been our much-loved family holiday home for 25 years and we are delighted to share it with you.
The house provides space for all the family or group to enjoy time together, but also separate areas for friends, young families or teenagers to enjoy independence.
**If you are a smaller group please feel free to get in touch - dependent of availability and length of stay his chalet can be separated into two smaller units. Please enquire or message to discuss further.**
As you enter the chalet via the internal heated car garage, the ski boot room is just to the left. Straight ahead, the corridor leads you to the First and Second floor, the main upper "chalet". Head up the stairs and enjoy the beautiful historic open space of the main lounge/dining/entertaining area.
Les Encarnes upper chalet area has a fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals to enjoy together at the 14+ seat dining table, which has panoramic views across the mountains.
The master en-suite bedroom is set in its own wing, and separately located along the second wing is the second bedroom and family suite. Above the lounge, you'll find a mezzanine area with games and pool table
Downstairs is our standalone "Apartment", a cosy living area with its own kitchen and living room space. The master bedroom is ensuite, located via its own corridor and bedrooms 2 and 3 also feature dedicated bathrooms and are along the main apartment corridor. The apartment kitchen and dining space are open and are adjacent to the living room area.
The house is the perfect self-catered setting for families or a group of friends, with the upper chalet entertaining space suitable for the entire group and the apartment a perfect getaway for teenagers, or a separate space for families with young children.
We have loads of entertainment, DVDs, PS3, Board Games, Freesat TV, a chessboard and for younger children we have 3+ high chairs, 2 travel cots, a larger crib (wooden 70 x140), a secure baby playpen, childrens toys and cutlery.
Les Encarnes has a lovely garden with hot tub and BBQ just at the end of the patio for winter or summer use!
Parking is really easy - we have a large driveway, plus space for a car in the internal heated garage, and for a further 2 to 3 cars in the external garages, all of which you are welcome to use. We do recommend that guests have a car for easiest access to the supermarket etc (however on a day to day basis, the ski bus service is fantastic and stops right outside the house every day from around 7am-6pm
