This delightful riverside cottage offers a tranquil base to explore the natural beauty and rich heritage of St. Dogmaels. Set just a few metres from the banks of the River Teifi, you can enjoy peaceful views of the water from both inside and out. A slipway and pontoon lie 50 metres away, ideal for fishing or boating, and right outside the front door is the route to join the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast Path. A mile away, the golden sands and dunes of Poppit Beach await, perfect for coastal walks, enjoying the café, or watching the tide roll in. The village of St. Dogmaels is within easy walking distance and full of character, offering a weekly farmers' market with local produce and handmade crafts. Enjoy the charm of riverside inns—including one just 150 metres from the cottage—and wander through the hauntingly beautiful ruins of St. Dogmaels Abbey. The bustling town of Cardigan is nearby for shops, cafés, and galleries, while the wild, mystical Preseli Mountains, historic Cilgerran Castle, and the peaceful Welsh Wildlife Centre offer enriching days out.
Inside, the cottage is warm, light-filled, and welcoming. The open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining space is thoughtfully designed for a relaxed, self-catering stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, the lounge inviting, and the dining area ideal for sharing meals after a day of adventure. Upstairs, two spacious double bedrooms promise restful nights—one with garden views, the other overlooking the ever-changing tidal river. A fresh, modern shower room completes the upper floor.
Outside, a few steps lead to a private rear garden with a lawn, seating area, and tranquil river views—perfect for slow mornings or serene evenings. At the front, a sunny patio provides another lovely spot to sit and take it all in. A true haven for relaxing, walkers, bird watchers, and boating enthusiasts alike.
