Located in the charming town of Woodbridge, you’ll be able to learn about the history, take day trips to the seaside and explore the nearby activities. Suitable for a multi-generational family holiday or a group getaway, it’s a lovely setting for a break with your nearest and dearest.


The kitchen/dining area is big and beautiful. You can prepare food at the gas AGA, eat at the wooden table and note the light coming through the vaulted glass window. There’s a choice of rooms for relaxation: a lounge with a large bookshelf, and a sitting room with a Wii for some family fun. You’ll find a shower room on the ground floor, and a spacious family bathroom with roll-top bath and shower cubicle upstairs. You can access the first floor either by the staircase or take the lift which is handy for moving luggage. Upstairs, you’ll find two king-size bedrooms, one with a fireplace, and a children’s room with curtained reading nook and twin beds, one of which has a trundle bed beneath. This property has a lovely garden, complete with a summerhouse for evenings after the children are asleep, and a shed with table football for some games. There are limited parking areas in The Thoroughfare from which luggage can be unloaded, a short walk down an alleyway to the property, pay and display public car park within 0.2 miles.Please be aware that the stairs are steep and the layout is not suitable for wheelchairs users.


Woodbridge is as idyllic as the name suggests. Take some time to explore and try out the local pubs, then have a day out at Sutton Hoo (3 miles), a fascinating location which combines the ancient history of an Anglo-Saxon burial site and an Edwardian manor. Avid cyclists should schedule a bike ride around the Twisted Oaks Bike Park and Trails (5 miles). Finish your holiday with a day in Ipswich (8.5 miles) or paddle in the sea at Shingle Street (10 miles).
