From Whitby, enjoy day trips to Staithes (11 miles) or Robin Hood’s Bay (5.5 miles), or head inland to explore the North York Moors National Park.

A shared entrance and a flight of stairs lead to the first-floor apartment. Inside, you’ll find a spacious lounge/diner with elegant furniture and a magnificent bay window. Spend time here, dining around the stylish table or stretching out on one of the leather sofas as you watch a film on the Smart TV. Just off this space is a galley-style kitchen with everything needed for a successful self-catering break. The property has three bedrooms, all decorated in calming tones for a good night’s rest. A contemporary family bathroom completes the coastal retreat. While there is no outside space, you will find a children’s play park within 500 metres and there are some lovely walks to explore through Pannett Park, 0.5 miles from the apartment.

Head into the town centre (less than 0.5 miles) to wander through the cobbled streets, popping into the independent boutiques and galleries or dining in one of the many seafood restaurants. Soak up the town’s seafaring history with a visit to the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, or climb the iconic 199 steps to admire St Mary’s Church and Whitby Abbey. Whitby has an array of sandy beaches, including West Cliff Beach, 1 mile away. Spend the day playing in the sand, hunting for the famous Whitby jet, or taking a refreshing dip in the North Sea.
