About this property
3 Bed in Gresham (oc-h31040)
Create magical memories with your loved ones at Hen Barn in Upper Gresham. Set at the end of a long woodland drive in tranquil countryside within easy reach of the North Norfolk coast, this detached property makes an exquisite rural retreat for a family gathering or special occasion with friends. Sleeping six guests in three bedrooms, this dog-friendly holiday home features light-filled living areas bursting with vibrant artworks and a grassy garden with ample space for kids and dogs to play.
Arranged over two storeys, this wonderful barn conversion boasts open-aspect rooms, large windows, and splashes of colour from soft furnishings and local artworks. A vast, open-plan living area occupies much of the ground floor, offering the perfect space for entertaining and relaxing. Take your pick from two lounge areas both with large, squashy sofas, separated by patio doors which can be thrown open in warm weather to create an indoor-outdoor living space. A spacious, country-style kitchen with light wooden cabinets has everything you need to prepare meals for a crowd and a dining table seating six sets the scene for memorable mealtimes. When night falls, get cosy beneath the covers in one of three bedrooms. Take your pick from a ground floor twin with an en-suite and two double bedrooms on the first floor, which share access to the family bathroom. Outside, an unenclosed grassy garden wraps around the property and there’s ample off-road parking.
The rural village of Gresham boasts the ruins of an ancient castle and is close to two National Trust properties, Felbrigg Hall (4 miles) and Blickling Hall (9 miles). Visit the pretty Georgian market town of Holt (6 miles) for an array of independent shops and restaurants and an expansive country park. The coastal towns of Sheringham (4 miles) and Cromer (6 miles) offer sandy beaches, traditional seaside activities and an abundance of charm.
