Ideal for couples and smaller families, this cheerful bolthole provides a fantastic base for walkers, beach lovers, nature spotters and cyclists discovering the region’s stunning landscapes, quaint villages and popular coastal resorts including Bude and Widemouth Bay.

Entering this welcoming cottage, head upstairs, directly into the light-filled open-plan lounge/kitchen. The cosy lounge has comfortable seating and a Smart TV and leads over to a beautifully arranged kitchen with ample equipment, storage space and a handy breakfast bar. The first floor also has a charming separate dining room. Back downstairs, you’ll find a refreshing bathroom and a choice between two bright, nautically themed bedrooms: a pretty double and a lovely twin. Outside, the shared gardens have space for children to run around, and some quiet seating areas perfect for dining alfresco. There’s also a shared games room as well as a shared utility room. Private parking is available for one car.

The cottage sits in a picturesque spot just outside the small village of Whitstone, perfectly placed for long rural walks or for a drive to the idyllic North Cornwall coast. The popular resort of Bude (8.5 miles) has some wonderful sandy beaches and a wide choice of great pubs, cafes, amusements, shops and restaurants. Heading southwest, visit Crackington Haven (12 miles), and Boscastle – home to The Museum of Witchcraft and Magic (16 miles). To the north, the secluded Hartland Heritage Coast (8 miles) offers wonderful walks with rugged landscapes and stunning seascapes.
