Located just a few minutes north of the whale watching capital, the home takes advantage of regular sightings of the resident whale population. Whale watching and fishing expeditions are with 8 minutes of the home. Halibut, ling cod and numerous other fish species are caught in season throughout the year as well as salmon up to 50lbs just 5 minutes from the home in the Siletz River.

Tide pools are located about 3 minutes south of the home allowing young and old alike to enjoy interaction with crabs, starfish and other tide pool inhabitants. Beware of logs, sneaker waves and slipping on the rocks when climbing around tide pools!
