We love the location of this modern property with beaches within 500 yards and the Lake District just over 30 minutes’ drive away.. 2 steps to entrance.

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Attachment, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. . Rear garden. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. On entering Mill Charm, step into the hallway which leads to a good-sized living room with a clean modern feel. Moving to the well-appointed kitchen/dining area which has plenty of space to prepare a hearty family meal. There are also French doors leading out to the rear garden. Upstairs are 2 double bedrooms, one with en-suite facilities, and a single bedroom. The accommodation is finished off with a family bathroom.
The property is situated on Walney Island which offers miles of sandy beaches which are a draw to walkers, paddlers and kite surfers alike. Additionally, there are 2 nature reserves where you can see a variety of wildlife including seals. A short 5-minute drive takes you to Barrow in Furness with a variety of shops, and is probably best known for its docks which build submarines for the Royal Navy. More details of the dock’s historic past can be uncovered at the nearby Dock Museum. A further 15-minute drive and you arrive in the charming market town of Ulverston with its cobbled streets, superb selection of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Ulverston also enjoys a variety of festivals throughout the year meaning there is always something to entertain. En-route to Ulverston you pass the South Lakes Safari Zoo which offers you the chance to get as close as possible to some of the amazing creatures with which we share our planet. As a base, Walney puts you within easy access to some great days out, and of course the magnificent scenery of the world-famous Lake District.
