About Amanda Elliott
Nice to meet you, I am the property manager of Little Bay Townhouse. My name is Amanda Elliott and my parents, Tom and Susan Langan are the owners of the property. The Langan's are second generation farmers from the midwest region of the United States. Our family farm is located in southeast Iowa where we were born and raised. In addition to managing our Little Bay house, I work as a school librarian and also help part time at my husband Nick's family business. We also are lifelong fans of the Chicago Cubs! We have been season ticket holders since 2014 and have been able to witness history in the making with the team winning the World Series in 2016, ending a 108 year drought and making the post-season three years in a row. We're hopeful for many more exciting, prosperous seasons of Cubs baseball. My parents first time to Jamaica was on their honeymoon in 1993. They fell in love with the island and the people and continued to visit whenever possible. In 2009 my parents took my husband and I to Jamaica for our first visit and we also fell in love. We were married in Negril in 2012 and have visited the island countless times. We have many friends in Jamaica and some we consider family. We were fortunate enough to purchase our property at Little Bay that really allows Jamaica to be our second home that we can share with friends and family.
Amanda Elliott purchased this Townhome in 2013
Why Amanda Elliott chose Negril
During our annual trips to Negril, we noticed a new housing development taking shape and wanted to learn more. We set up an appointment to tour the property and absolutely fell in love. On the tour, we saw not only the beauty of the beach and ocean but the potential to have a place to take our family and share it with.

Fantastic 10 day get away
My wife, myself and along with another couple spent 10 fantastic days here at Amanda's home in March 2020. The property is everything it is promoted to be. Absolutely beautiful. Little Bay is safe, everyone is friendly, getting around Negril is easy and the amenities of any vacation are within easy access. I strongly recommend to anyone, this is a perfect home and location to visit Negril. Mike Cole
The place was wonderful great location beach was fabulous, snorkeling right of the beach was terrific. Would come again
Again, a very enjoyable vacation home
This is our 2nd vacation here. Pick up your groceries in MoBay, plan to have Anna make a fish or chicken dinner (she'll pick up fresh fish for you). Sit back and enjoy the snorkeling & beach walks....wonderful.
Fantastic for us
We absolutely love Negril and staying in this beautiful home!!
This place is incredible! My family and I didn’t want to leave! When we arrived, the house was spotless. We arrived late so we went to bed. The next morning we drank coffee on the back deck that is literally steps from the ocean and a private beach. The neighborhood was quiet and well kept. The extras provided like chairs, snorkel gear, and floaters for the kids were great as well. The house is furnished well with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic vacation. We will be back for sure next year!
Our property is located just outside of the resort town of Negril, Jamaica. Negril's nickname is "The Capital of Casual" and it certainly lives up to it. Swimsuits and flip-flops are the main attire as most spend their days on the beach by the sea. Negril has so many great bars and restaurants that not only serve great food and drinks, but also immerse you in the culture of Jamaica and get to know some of the wonderful people who live there and call Negril home. The world famous 7 Mile Beach is chalk full of places to eat and drink as well as shop and of course chance to surround yourself the vibrant, amazing culture of Jamaica. Downtown Negril has some of the modern amenities you might need on your trip including grocery stores, pharmacies gift shops, and ATM's. Travel a little further and you'll end up on the west end of Negril, better known as "The Cliffs." From The Cliffs you'll experience a different part of Negril and the sunset views cannot be beat. Negril has so much to offer, it is just waiting for you to come explore!
There are many delicious breakfast spots in Negril, where you can enjoy Jamaican or international fare. Many of the beachfront hotels like Travellers, Charella, and Coco La Palm welcome tourists for a reasonably priced breakfast.
Negril's 7 Mile Beach is often included in the lists of top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. Take some time to leisurely walk, swim, and sunbathe along 7 Mile and take in the sights, sounds, and culture of Negril's famous beach.
For the more adventurous, you can enjoy the many watersports and activities offered along the beach. Options include snorkeling, sailing, parasailing, jetskis, fishing, boating, and catamaran cruises and more.
There are many places to stop for a drink or a meal along 7 Mile Beach, as well as lots of options for entertainment. Check out the live music venues like Drifter's or The Boat Bar where you can enjoy live music all afternoon and into the evening.
If you plan for a dinner out, there are a wealth of great bars and restaurants, serving all manners of culinary delights. For a truly Jamaican experience, try out the local jerk specials or a fresh catch of the day. Along the beach road, we recommend Best in the West, Kuyaba, Sweet Spice, and Vinnies. If you venture up to the west end for dinner, check out some of our favorite places like Ivan's, The Blue Mahoe, Pushcart, and Murphys.
If you are looking for some nightlife, check out some of the local late night spots like Bourbon Beach, Alfred's, or Roots Bamboo for drinks. music, and dancing.
