This highly desirable top-floor unit overlooks the lovely koi pond and provides the best views of the sky and stars. The lanai is oriented to the afternoon sun and sunset. Importantly, its top floor position makes it one of the most quiet apartments at Kahala Beach. Remodeled from floor to ceiling in 2003, the key amenities are: high-end furniture throughout, comfortable beds purchased in 2008, new kitchen with granite countertops, state-of-the-art appliances, high-end cabinetry, lighting, a wine bar, and a travertine marble master bathroom with oversized shower and soaking tub, high-speed internet, DVR and Blu-Ray Player.

Most visitors know the lanai is special to Hawaiian living. Three plantation ceiling fans enhance usage of this especially pleasing large, comfortable, fully furnished lanai which has the key benefit of being open on the ocean side. This feature provides additional light, views and gentle breezes. Most important is the ability to configure the space to match the wishes of the any occupant any time of day. Afternoon sun bathing is possible for a few hours. This slate floor lanai is often best used when it is an extension of the large living room creating tropical ambiance and flow from interior to exterior. The lanai is designed to be either fully or partially enclosed with sliding glass doors and, thus air conditioned, when closed. It can afford any degree of privacy with sheer curtains and adjustable louvers.

Additionally, the lanai can be a large separate space. Interior sliding glass doors and curtains between the lanai and living/dining rooms or guest bedroom allow for any combination of light, temperature, sound, privacy and degree of separation from the interior.
