Short get away

Was in Cali for work and was able to spend a couple day enjoying the beach and Cambria with my Daughter. Very cute house, great location to relax.

We had a lovely stay overall. It's in walking distance to the Cambria Christmas Market. The cottage itself is very roomy and we loved being surrounded by trees. However I did hit my head on a low hanging branch over the deck. I was aware of it but going back and forth to the grill it was inevitable. Also there's an email they send out with the check in instructions, save it. I forgot about it and tried calling them, during business hours, and got no response. Found the email and had to go into town to get the keys. A little inconvenient but it's not far.

Another great experience here

Loved this cabin on previous stays… even better this time with new laminate flooring and propane BBQ. Prefect serene, hillside location with forest view and easy access to town. Comfortable and well-equipped. Highly recommend!

Nice little home that was close to town and the Christmas light show and market place

Older home that could use a little updating of plugs, carpet and downstairs bathroom fan, but satisfied our short stay. This place is within walking distance of the Christmas light show and market place and has a beautiful back porch area. Although I did mention some of the needed updates, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

The bathtub upstairs is HUGE and so relaxing after a day of watching Elephant Seals & exploring the local beaches! The surrounding property was awesome to walk with our dog. We saw wild turkeys, deer, squirrels & a variety of birds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cambria & plan on returning. We will absolutely be looking for places through Scenic Coast Property Management.

Lovely!

The home is nestled in trees and yet a short drive to the ocean. For anyone fleeing HOT summer temps in their home town this area is a gorgeous respite. The bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom has a big bathtub with a gorgeous window out to the tree tops. For a shower you need to use the ground floor bathroom.

This unit isn't what I've come to expect from Scenic Coast property rental. It is very dated and not very comfortable. We would not stay there again again.

Beware!

House was very nice on the interior. Beds comfy, TV, kitchen, decor, all great. BUT…Driveway will keep us from ever coming back! Not only is it incredibly short and steep right down to the tiny garage (which we never used.). But the driveway apron to the dirt road (which was also very steep) was a gravel and dirt ditch! No traction and lots of skidding. Gravel spraying our Chrysler 300 C, and city ordinance prohibits street parking! Recommend High profile vehicle with 4WD ONLY! .

Reviewer Comments: I enjoyed my stay at this "cottage" - It has two bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs that has a large tub with a window to the treetops, and a half bath downstairs with a shower. The house feels spacious but cozy. There is a lovely deck off the dining room where you can spend cool outdoor time in the trees. I parked in the teeny tiny garage but next time I'll just park on the driveway - which has room for one car. Having the only shower downstairs from the bedrooms was odd, but bring a robe and you'll be fine!
