We really enjoyed our stay. The owner answered questions quickly. Close to beach, nice pool area for kids, and loved having the golf cart. Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our first stay last year so booked again for fall bike week. House was clean, check in process took less than 10 mins, perfect location for anything we wanted to do. Will definitely book again!

Love this place!!

We have stayed here for 3 years in our family vacation and Debbie is a incredible host. The house is well kept and clean and in a great location. Can't recommend it enough.

Golf Trip

Four of us stayed here for a short golf trip. The property is nice and very spacious. We loved the deck overlooking the water. We will look to stay again next year.

Will Stay Again

Location is perfect, view great, lots of room inside. Having a golf cart is always a plus. Owner was easy to contact and very helpful throughout the entire process. Looking forward to staying again in May '24

We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. The view is lovely and the kitchen is well equipped. The indoor pool is currently under construction, but the outdoor pool(s) are open. The golf cart is a nice bonus. Plenty of shade under the carport. Owner is very easy to communicate with and we would recommend this place!!

Home Away From Home

The home was clean. There were enough towels for everyone and the kitchen had anything you would need. The property location was great and the back deck was nice.

Great stay

Everything was nice we had a great stay. Very spacious. Perfect location for to get to the beach, water splash pad and outdoor pool. Community very nice and quite. The one bathroom had ball of hair in the shower. We will stay here again.

Relaxing

We had a wonderful vacation. This place is amazing and I love seeing the swan and the geese. I especially loved the lights Debra has outside and at the tiki bar. Great place to come and relax as a couple or even with the family. They have everything you could possibly need. The communication was amazing as well. Thanks for a great time.

Wonderful home at Oceanside Village

This is a great home with plenty of room for the family. You can fish just steps off the back deck. We enjoyed cooking several meals in the big kitchen and even a couple on the charcoal grill. Debbie is a wonderful owner who is only a phone call or text away. We definitely plan on returning again as everyone in my party enjoyed it.

Another great vacation at Oceanside Village

We’ve stayed at OSV for vacations for 7 years now. This was our first with this house. It was clean and spacious. The oven was small but fancy. The included golf cart was better than the rentals. The only downsides were the lack of an outdoor shower (there was a nice hose, all cold water) and the dishwasher was underwhelming. The view of the fountain was quite nice. The geese and ducks were always entertaining.

I am glad you enjoyed your vacation and my home. I replace the cooktop, oven and roof this year. The dishwasher is next. As far as a shower I don’t think so. My very first year it froze and cost me, so the nice hose will have to do. Thanks for a nice review. Hope to see you again soon

Nice Oceanside Home

The home was as advertised. The home was very spacious, with three good sized bedrooms and two large living spaces. The yard and the pond with the fountain were great for fishing and watching the moon rise in the evening and set in the morning! Would definitely recommend and visit again in the future. The golf cart made the trips to the beach and pool very convenient, thanks for making that part of the rental. Plenty of beach chairs and towels to take to the beach.

The house was really nice and the golf cart was a huge hit with our family! and the private access to the beach was amazing. The only issue was mouse poop all in the cabinets. and there were a few dead bugs in the bathroom floor when we arrived. But other than that it was Awesome!

I stay in that house for 6 months every year and there is NO mouse poop! When I leave, every cabinet is cleaned inside and out, I would know if I had mice. Even though it is a double wide it has a concrete block skirting and hardware wire over every opening. As far as plamentto bugs I have a Professional sprayers ever 6 months. Inside and out.

Love this place!

I didn’t want to leave! I love this house so much! The porch is my absolute favorite. We enjoyed the lake view in the rocking chairs every day and night. This home is also extremely kid friendly which was most important to me as we have a 7 year old and a one year old. We plan to return next year and stay again! The only improvement that I would suggest is maintenance to the golf cart. The rest is wonderful! Thanks for a fabulous experience, Debbie!

Our 2nd Stay Here

We really enjoyed our stay here last year so it was an easy choice to rebook for this year and bring my parents along. This home is located in the middle of everything. It's convenient to the entrance, close to the indoor and outdoor pools and a quick golf cart ride to the beach. There are beach chairs provided, floaties, you name it. We really appreciate being able use them and save some space when packing. I had to knock off a star overall because the cleanliness of the home was not great this trip. Upon arriving and removing our shoes like we do at home, we quickly noticed our feet turning black. Thankfully my kids are older and weren't crawling on the floor but it was a little off-putting. I also wanted to note that the indoor pool was closed our entire trip. This obviously is at no fault of the rental but we were disappointed to not have a pool available when we needed a break from the sun. Overall we had a great trip and I wouldn't hesitate to rent again.

Fall Break Getaway

We loved our stay at this rental and in Oceanside Village during our fall break. The weather was beautiful and the crowds were small! This house was comfortable for our family of 7. The sleeping arrangements were as described and beds comfy. Our 8 yr old stayed on the pull-out couch, which was fine for her, but if you are planning on this for an adult, it will be uncomfortable. The kitchen was nicely stocked and every cabinet labeled with its contents for ease of locating items and returning them after they are clean. There is a good supply of spices and a few left-over cooking supplies from previous tenants. For our larger family, this house was great and the golf carts made moving around the neighborhood and going to the beach so easy! The rental is also located right next to one of the lakes in Oceanside. My son who LOVES fishing sat out there for hours...only got some nibbles, but he was content. There was a nice supply of beach toys and some chairs, however, the chairs were not all in good working order so we could only use a couple of them. If you have room, its a good idea to bring your own. All bath and beach towels provided were in good condition and there were plenty. Please note that renters are expected to wash and dry and replace all towels before leaving. This took some organizing on our part and I was actually up until 1 am getting the last load washed and into the dryer. Make sure set the dryer on the hottest setting...it took forever to get all the towels dry. Suggestions for the owner: update the mattress in the pull-out so it could fully be utilized by anyone; consider updating the 2nd couch near the dining room and moving it into the living room arrangement for more seating in there; move tiki bar over to where the other couch is; check on your beach supplies - the chairs aren't in great condition and we could only use the 2 black bag chairs; leave some good instructions on which dryer setting is best for towels to reduce time needed (it took us a couple of tries to get the hottest cycle). You have a lovely home and a great rental!

EXCELLENT VACATION, HOST AND RENTAL!!

This was by far one of the BEST places we've stayed at Oceanside Village! We've been coming to Oceanside for 36 years and this was a five star experience! Place was immaculate, well stocked and in perfect location overlooking the lake with a mesmerizing fountain! Debbie, the owner, was so very helpful and friendly. She even provided extra golf cart for us because the one there needed minor repair and the repair man came the next morning and fixed it! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be renting from Debbie again!! Thank you Debbie and your home is AMAZING! My husband and I brought my sister and she absolutely LOVED also! A++ experience, home, and overall exceptional experience!! Thanks again. .would highly recommend this rental!

Perfectly Located

We've stayed at Oceanside Village before but this property was located in the perfect spot. Easy to get to the entrance/exit, in-between the indoor pool and outdoor pool/splash pad. It's right on the pond- we couldn't ask for more. The host was easy to work with and quick to respond. The property itself was exactly what we needed and we loved the deck facing the pond. The golf cart was such a nice addition. We didn't have to load the kids into the car to go to the pools or ocean and they enjoyed the ride. Great trip and we look forward to staying here again!

Perfect Family Vacation Home

We stayed here with 4 adults and two kids (5 and 9.) The community amenities and proximity to the beach were perfect. The kids splash pad was perfectly situated to keep an eye on them playing while we were in the hot tub or smaller pool. It was a quick 5 minute golf cart ride to the beach with just a short walk to grab a spot in the sand.

I have been coming to Myrtle Beach as a snowbird for the last 13 years and have loved every minute of it. I have actually convinced many of my friends and family to join me here! This year I decided it was time to buy my own house and when I saw this amazing house, I immediately fell in love with it and had to have it! I am making some modifications this winter, painting the whole house, adding some games and movies, and updating the cable and TV's to make your stay even better. I know you will fall in love with this house just as I have.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

When I decided I wanted to buy a house in Myrtle Beach I knew I wanted to be in Oceanside Village. I like having our own beach access, and all the amenities in the village.
Then I fell in love with the lake view and sitting on the front porch, sun bathing and watching the fountain and the ducks and geese. This house is a corner lot, so the one side is open, giving it more space, which I really like.
While I am not a person who fishes, I have people in my family who do, and they love the fact that the lake is stocked with fish, and you can catch and release right in our front yard!
Then when I viewed the house, I love the open floor plan and all the windows and natural light! It is so bright, and airy and fun.
