Super Cozy and Quiet Cabin! Classy Interior Decoration!
We've stayed at (and loved) one of the other North Shore Cottages properties, and we were excited to try another cabin. Everything was perfect! You can't ask for a better location--secluded right on the Lake--perfect for swimming, beach walking, or taking in a sunset over the water and then being able to step right back to your cabin. These properties grant you easy access to the beach, which isn't always easy to find without driving to a state park, or driving out on some poorly marked/maintained seasonal road--a huge plus. The owner provides a helpful guest's binder with answers to common questions, as well as tips for food and sightseeing in the area. A quick drive back to Calumet for conveniences like grocery stores and restaurants keeps life super comfortable for both food on a budget or eating out all the time. We love these cabins and can't wait to visit again soon!
We experienced a relaxing and enjoyable stay along the beautiful Superior shore.
Delightful stay at Lake Superior
The cottage is well equipped for two. Comfortable bed and a nicely appointed kitchen. We took advantage of the local wild raspberries and were often the only people on the beach. Outstanding sunsets
Philip is a great host. Looking forward to future visits
This quaint home is just the place to unwind.
My husband I have lived in Michigan all of our lives but had never been to the Keweenaw peninsula. This lively cottage was our home base for over week and we traveled out from there every day and explored Copper Harbor, Bear Bluff, Hoar Lake, Fish Cove, High Point and the Porcupine Mountains. We toured mines, homesteads, ate pasties and lots of ice cream. This was the perfect location and so incredibly peaceful and quiet. The beach is beautiful and Philip was so great to work with. He responded immediately to any questions and was very gracious. Can’t say enough good things about the whole experience...loved everything about it.
Beautiful, relaxing, perfect spot in Keweenaw
Truly a lovely cottage, with a large open deck and view of Lake Superior. The design of the space has been thoughtfully created to meet every need and establish a cozy home base that you never want to leave. Highly recommend!

Great location, all the amenities you need, clean and decorated in harmony with the beauty of the area. Very comfortable bed and a great kitchen for cooking. Enjoyed the campfire and closeness to lake. The owner was knowledgeable of the area and great customer service.Wish we could of stayed longer than 3 days.
