We rented this property from February 9th to March 11th, 2019 and the following is our experience and opinion:
On the internet we thought that this property was a fairly priced, and it would have been, had representation and condition been consummate with the presentation,
It was advertised that it sleeps eight. It only has beds to sleep six. Note there are two couches in the living room,
When we arrived, we met the owner who was very accommodating, however, we spent the first three hours trying to log on the internet, since the router wasn’t working properly. We were on the telephone with the owner and Cox cable trying to solve the problem. Cox told the owner he probably needed to replace the five year old router. Once we were able to connect with the internet, we experienced periodic outages for the next couple of days and had to continuously unplug and plug in again the router. The Television wasn’t really user friendly and kept going off. After numerous conversations with the owner and his visit to reset it, we final were able to view the TV. Detailed written instructions need to be furnished.
After residing in the residence, we started to notice various issues that needed to be addressed:
For example, the water pressure in the half bath on the first floor didn’t work. (new faucet required); light in the bathroom didn’t work (needed to be rewired) handle on the bathtub faucet in the master-bath was very loose and needed tightening. We were afraid that it was going to fall off. The furniture in the dining area was very wobbly. All of the legs on the chairs and kitchen table had to be tightened; lights on the microwave oven needed to be replaced and oven light needs replaced. Bar stools need new padding in the seats and don’t fit the bar. The owner was notified and sent a repairman out to assess the job, so we had to set and hour aside for that and three hours the next day while the work was being completed.
We also learned that the ice maker didn’t work and that the water was leaking in the freezer, which caused our frozen food to be covered with blocks of ice and ice formations throughout the freezer. The owner offered to replace the refrigerator, but we declined, since we didn’t want to be tied up with delivery etc. Another area that needed to be addressed was that the lightbulbs

I am very sorry Bernard for your experience during your stay in our home. We contacted the internet provider and they were able to reset the internet, we have replaced the internet router since then and as for the faucet we sent in a repair guy and he took care of all the repair and you also offered to replace the refrigerator. The TV is TCL with Roku remote and I came in there and showed you how to use it and you were fine with it. Everything that you asked for we fixed except the freezer which has since been fixed after you left.

Though clean lacking basic amenities
House was clean & beds were comfy, but no basic amenities . Cable was disconnected so no TV. Sliding door to outdoor space broken & took 2 men to open/close. Code to front door would not work so had to leave door unlocked whenever gone. Owner did not know code to garage door so had to run thru house to open garage door, then pull in. No bar soap, body wash, conditioners for bathing. No where to hang wet towels to dry. No coffee packets, or creamer tho had coffee maker. For traveler these are not items you want to or expect to have to purchase. Will not use this home again.

Extremely clean and well maintained property.
We really enjoyed our stay together as a family. The owner was very accommodating over the few things we called about… Porch lights not coming on and missing hair dryer, for example.
The property was extremely clean and near all services we required. The garage remote was missing. It would've been helpful to have it.
The only thing I thought would add to a family enjoyment would be several games or DVDs. I suppose those are things that might easily be stolen, though, so I can see an owner not providing them. There was, however, Netflix and Hulu and Amazon prime if you had an account.
Potential renters, be aware, all bedrooms are up an extremely steep set of stairs.

Thanks Cathy, you were extremely nice when I met you. However we don’t give out the garage openers to guest so that they don’t take it when they leave. We did give you a brand new hair dryer and we did replace the light bulb quickly when you ask for it. We have a DVD player and you can also play your video game, we just don’t know which kind of movie or video game you like playing so we did not have any disc, but you can bring in your disc or video game and we have the players available for our guest. We have never had any complaints from our previous guest about the staircase, sorry to hear that. We thought our staircase was fine and easy.

Very comfortable
This home is very comfortable. It felt like I was at home. Not too far from the strip, local stores nearby, quiet. My family and I stayed Easter weekend and a neighbor gave my family a dessert. Lots of space and privacy.

Enjoyed our stay
Bianca our property manager was very pleasant and accessible. Unfortunately we didn’t realise that a sensor/card was required to access the pool and weren’t able to use it. The house was neat and tidy, everything was provided as described, we mentioned bits and pieces of marks/holes, etc., just to make sure it was not attributed to our stay. We liked the proximity to the Strip, far enough to lose the crowds but close enough to everywhere we needed to go. We appreciate that we were able to leave without rushing out -that meant a lot, so thank you! We will certainly contact you again the next time we’re in Vegas.
