Hi Janice, We are glad you enjoyed your time at the house. The VRBO Service fee is displayed and included in the breakdown at the time of booking on the VRBO platform. Unfortunately as the property management staff we do not have any control over the extra fee's that are added to book on the site.

Thanks for leaving the review. We are glad you enjoyed your time at Surf N Turf. Unfortunately due to the high winds and rain during the hurricane it made it very challenging to keep the pool clean. We do offer multiple extra sleeping options including 2 pull-out sofas, futon bed in addition to the twin beds upstairs. The attic space is not advertised as a bedroom and is designed for young children as extra space. Please let us know if we can help in the future.

We are disappointed to receive this review with no prior knowledge of your experience prior to departure. We were in communication with the guest 3 different times during their stay and we were not made aware of any of the issues. We did have new living room furniture delivered during the stay which we promptly moved into storage area during stay. The new furniture is the only item current not included in the pictures online. Prior to the guest arrival there was a brand new gas grill taken to the property. The grill is located close to the steps leading out of the kitchen so the location of the grilling area is different than in the pictures. The dishwasher did leak during a cycle on the 4th day of the guest stay and it was fixed the same day. We were unaware of any pest or cleaning issues but will take the issues up with the appropriate staff. Folly Beach is an old maritime forest and the lot does have large oak trees and vegetation. We have not had any issues with guest parking in the driveway. The landscaping company that performs the regular service has been notified. Unfortunately we do not have control over the neighboring lots. Our neighbor across the street is under-going renovations and has construction equipment in the yard. We do not anticipate this being long-term and the items will be removed once they have finished the work at the house. Both lots on either side of the house are wooded vacant lots that we feel add to the privacy at the property. Upon the guest departure we did provide compensation out of a token of good-will. Our inspection of the property found the majority of the claims to be untrue. We are excited about the new living room furniture and will update those pictures as soon as possible to ensure our listing is accurate. If any guest ever has any issues during their stay please reach out to us. We appreciate the opportunity to resolve them during your stay.

Our contractor evaluated the deck and repaired any loose boards. We also added a new grill. We hope you'll come back to Surf-N-Turf on Folly Beach again!
