Why Craig A. Fletcher chose Port St. Joe
If you want crowds, beaches devoid of shells, walks across busy streets with honking cars and no view of the water, this is not the house for you. This home finished in 2018 not only has a gorgeous view of the water with over four miles of St.Joe Bay bike trail right out front. Beautiful décor compliments the home with all living areas on ONE FLOOR. There is plenty of wooded areas to wander through and pick herbs, berries and vegetables growing in this pristine area. (Owner will show you what is edible.) This one-of-a-kind home also offers a significant discount for visitors that post unique pictures on the annual Ava's Beach House "Bragging Board."
What makes this House unique
Located on a quiet cul-de-sac with over 4 miles of secluded beach, this home offers the bicycle enthusiast an opportunity to daily see the gulf views along the Bay Bicycle Trail. Tie up your boat out front of the property and there is a screened porch for those times that the Florida bugs try to invade your sunset watch in the evening.

Beautiful new home near the bay!
We had a great time at Ava’s Beach House! Great bike trail. Mattresses in king and queen room were very comfy. There is a Murphy bed in the third room and one bunk bed in the last room (there will be another upon completion I think). There is a beautiful stain glass light on roof of house that you can light at night. You can tell the owners are hard at work getting everything done. Just needs a few minor things added for completion. Great space! Great place! Will be a five star rental upon completion I’m sure!!!
Our house is located midway between Port St. Joe and Mexico Beach, FL on Saint Joseph Bay. The area is known for beautiful beaches, a laidback atmosphere and there are numerous bicycle trails including the 4.5 mile Bay Bike Trail that our house is located on. Pristine conservation beaches with limited public access points provide opportunities for finding nice shells in this part of "Old Florida." A fishing pier in Mexico Beach is complimented by antique shopping in Port St. Joe (PSJ)and Apalachicola. Party boats and kayaks are available for rent in PSJ and there are numerous restaurants in several beach communities. We are only 19 miles from Tyndale AFB Main Gate and 100 miles from Tallahassee, the Florida capitol.
