 Detta Àr en helt ny semesterbostad som vi har byggt för de flesta av 2017. Byggd i natursköna Winneshiek County i vackra nordöstra Iowa, har vi skapat en fantastisk plats för dig att njuta av. Detta Àr pÄ 13 privata trÀdbevuxna hektar som du och din familj kan vandra, spela i vÄren matade creek, gÄ de skuggade stigarna och njut av alla naturens Àra, inklusive vildblommor, fÄglar, kalkoner och rÄdjur. En naturÀlskare dröm plats dÀr du kan njuta av brasar, stjÀrna stirrar och kommer tillbaka till naturen och bort frÄn livets liv och rörelse. Det finns 3 sovrum, tvÄ som Àr privata och ett loft med tvÄ queen size-sÀngar och ett halvt bad / pulver rum. Vardagsbad med badkar dusch combo och tvÀttstuga, fullt möblerat öppet koncept kök, vardagsrum och vacker utsikt. Sitt under stjÀrnorna pÄ uteplatsen, runt ditt lÀgereld, eller i grÀset eller pÄ den överbyggda verandan. Familjens tid ringer dig. 9 sovplatser.

Vi byggde en utomhus dÀck och trapphus frÄn loftet och en uteplats vÄren 2018. Det finns nÄgra spÄr inom vÄrt areal och kommer att skapa mer.

Det finns stackar och staplar av klippt ved för den kvÀllen som sitter runt lÀgereldet med familjen, rostar marshmallows och njuter av en kopp varm choklad eller en vuxen dryck.

Vi Àr nÄgra minuter frÄn Calmar, Iowa med 22 mil Prairie Farmer Bike Trail, pool, gym, tÄgstation restaurang, PIVO bryggeri. Fort Atkinson, vÀrd Fort och den berömda Flash Burger, Det Àr hem för det historiska Fort Atkinson State Preserve och Àr vÀrd för en stor Ärlig fur-trapper rendezvous varje september. Spillville, Iowa en liten stad i det nordöstra hörnet av Iowa inbÀddat bland de mjuka böljande kullarna i Turkiet River Valley. Hem Inwood Ballroom, Bily Klockor och St. Wenceslaus katolska kyrkan, den Àldsta kalkstens tjeckiska katolska kyrkan i Förenta staterna. NÄgra minuter norr Àr Scenic Decorah Iowa. The place is tucked away in a beautiful setting. It’s a bird sanctuary with orioles and hummingbirds galore. We alway enjoy our peaceful getaway from it all.

What a great getaway space. Living area is comfortable with lots of space for talking, playing games and eating together. Kitchen is very well equipped and you can cook and still be part of the group. Bedrooms are spacious and beds and bedding are great. Outdoors is just as well equipped for games, a walk or a campfire.

Great Cabin!

The perfect fall retreat away from the city!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely property! The amenities exceeded our expectations from the views, the large, private property, the porch and fire pit. It was cozy & comfortable for our family of 5- we’re planning to book again next year! Perfect location, close drive to Decorah and other sites in the area.

We loved this property! The house was beautiful and clean. The outdoor area was awesome. We enjoyed the firepit and the blackstone grill! The pond was so much fun. Our grandchildren loved the ducks and we got to see a baby deer up close. Our hosts Kristine and her husband were great and responded to our questions right away and were so helpful. We would definately stay here again!!

Great location in NE Iowa!

Wild Rose was everything we needed while visiting NE Iowa. Great location between Decorah and West Union, we were able to enjoy the outdoors, as well as visit family in West Union. Lots of room for family to spread out, and the boys loved the under the stairs reading nook. My husband noted that it was the cleanest vacation rental we have stayed in. We would stay here again.

Amazing Peacefull Property with Perfect Location

My wife and I just loved this property. Such a peaceful, relaxing place. The cabin is laid out perfectly. The humming birds made the porch area so fun. We really enjoyed the firepit, as well as the trails around the property. Can't say enough about how amazing this property was! Look forward to visiting again in the future.

Perfect place to stay while visiting children at college.

We needed a place to stay while visiting our sons at Luther College and Wild Rose Cabin fit the bill! It's only 13 miles from Decorah and an easy drive back and forth. (The cabin is at the bottom of a steep hill which may require all-wheel drive in severe winter conditions) The accommodations were lovely and the cabin was decorated thoughtfully and beautifully. We would stay there again!

Picture Perfect!

Amazing property and stay! We were in town for a wedding. It accommodated our group perfectly. Lots of space, well decorated, and comfortable. The property is picture perfect! Lots of room to park, walk around and explore. Great outdoor space for relaxing and enjoying the beauty. We even saw the northern lights one night! We highly recommend this place and will stay again when in the area.

Such a beautiful gem!

The pictures do not lie in this listing. The house was comfy; the property was large, isolated, and gorgeous. It contained little trails to walk in the morning, and is located by a great many hiking locations within a 30 minute drive. The food scene in nearby Decorah was great. It was the perfect spot for a relaxed family reunion with my brother and his family.

Another great experience

We've stayed at Wild Rose three times now and had an excellent experience each time. The setting is so beautiful and the property well-cared for and welcoming to guests. We've never had any issues with the process or the stay. We hope to return again.

Our second stay

We stayed here four years ago and decided to stay again. Our family of four enjoyed the cozy, quiet cabin. We ventured to nearby towns, including Decorah. The owners are great. Highly recommend.

We are Kevin and Kristine Kulish, we have been married 39 years and have 3 sons and 3 grandchildren.

My husband and I bought 13 wooded acres and designed and built our beautiful Wild Rose Cabin. We did the bulk of the finishing ourselves, with the help of our 3 adult sons and a few great friends. We completely finished the inside and helped with much of the structural build as well. A true labor of love for the area and beautiful setting. A true hidden gem. We have a pond, trails and beautiful views, where we are the destination.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We bought the land because it was completely wooded with a small creek running through from a spring. It is full of wild flowers, wild life and the most peaceful surroundings anywhere.

The Wild Rose Cabin is close to Calmar, Fort Atkinson Spillville, and Decorah, Iowa with local brewerys, 3 in our county alone, a winery, phenomenal restaurants, museums, bike trails, trout streams, Decorah Fish Hatchery, Lake Meyer, Bily Clocks, Vesterheim Norwegian Musuem plus so many local festivals and attractions. Small towns at their finest!

We Love the quiet and tranquility of this peaceful hidden gem where you're not far away from many attractions in Winneshiek County, but the best part is no one even knows you're there because the property is hidden from the highway.
