Our group included grandkids, parents and grandparents. The property was spacious enough to accommodate our large group of 12. Two living areas and 2 dining areas made that possible and another covered area next to the pool gave us ample room to spread out during the day. 5 separate bedrooms provided privacy at night. Also, 3 tvs, the swimming pool, and fishing/ sun lounging off the dock provided many activities when we were at the property. Many restaurants were available a short distance away. All in all it was a great place for a larger family getaway.
My family and I loved the place. If you are looking for a nice place to stay, this is definitely it. The hosts were awesome and helpful. My family and I are definitely coming back here the next time we visit Fort Mayers.
Ok first gripe is they wouldn’t extend us to pay extra for pool heat as we have done in the past but didn’t have a problem charging a 100 to check in 4 hours early. The water level of the pool was low and the pool tech who came on Tuesday didn’t pick up on it and just not a pleasant stay with 4 kids who intent was to swimThe blackstone grill was nice except it was supplied with 2 empty propane tanksThe house only has 2 bathroomsThe hostess super responsiveThe home is in a quiet neighborhood and easy to findThe canal leads right to the river and about 30 minutes by boatFishing was slow due to the weather change A lot of damage from the hurricane to surrounding properties The pool heat was a sore spot for us due to it not reaching the 85 Would be a perfect Just not in the winter months
We had an amazing time at yalls home, we appreciate the time yall allowed us to stay would recommend this place to anyone.

The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly
I can’t complain about my stay because it was with family, but the house is a bit run down. The good, the location is pretty nice, communication with host was good, and the pool was pretty good. The bad, the house needs more care. Newly remodeled bathroom tile needs work. The threshold to master bathroom needs replacing. It needs more cooking supplies for a bigger group.
The ugly, the BBQ grill is filthy and so is the Blackstone. Outside by the pool needs a bit of cleaning. This is our 6th family reunion and all of them have been through VRBO. It wasn’t the worst, but it could be better.
The house was perfect for our family vacation. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool and patio area. The outdoor tv was great for watching baseball games while swimming. We brought our boat and tied it up to the dock. Most of our days were spent boating. It took about 30 minutes to get to Bunche Beach and about an hour to get to Cayo Costa from the house.
We had 6 households made up of 12 people from 6 months to 79 years staying for a week.
We had a great time!
The kitchen is well appointed for a vacation rental property; there's plenty of linens, including bath and beach towels; tons of space to spread out; and the lanai is awesome to hang out in next to the pool.
My brother went catch and release fishing off the canal with a rod from the garage and caught a catfish and the access for boats if you want is great.
The neighborhood is cute and quiet as well as close to shopping, restaurants, and some points of interest.
Definitely recommend the farmer's market in Saturday, it's huge so wear sunscreen!!
Tami was so very nice to communicate with and handled every question and issue we had; we would definitely be happy to stay again!
Thank you for such a nice place to make memories 💚
We had a wonderful stay at Twin Palms. There was a bit of a "snafoo" when we first got there due to the discrepancy in the room descriptions, but we figured it out. The place is clean and neighborhood nice and quiet. The lanai was a great place for all of us (10) to hang out and play cards and watch TV together. There were coolers, chairs and an umbrella in the garage and came in very helpful for our trips to the beach. Would definitely recommend this property. Great place for families.

We enjoyed our trip. Beds were comfortable.
The pool heater wasn’t working but property manager addressed. TV outside is a plus!
Also, no grilling is allowed in the back by pool area, was disappointing. Allowed by garage in front.
The house has a beautiful view of waterway.
This is a wonderful place with beautiful views. We’ve enjoyed it a lot, this is our second time to Stay there, we recommend it for every one that is looking to stay in this area. The place is super clean and the hosts are wonderful to deal with.
Perfect house for what we were looking for! Nice pool!!!!! Tons of good restaurants within 10 minute drive, and had a boat tour company pick us up right in the backyard!
The house is big and very confortable specially for a big family. There is plenty of space for everybody to relax inside the house. The house was very clean. The master bathroom had a weird smell but everything else was perfect. We just kept that door closed at all times. The kitchen is not that big but really well equipped. There are also plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets. Tami is very responsive. She always replied all my questions and concerns just within minutes of me asking. Overall, it was a very nice stay. We will be back!
Married, with 3 kids. From a small town in MN, New Ulm. We have a big German community in New Ulm, and the second oldest brewery in the USA. I enjoy to travel. I found Florida to be one of my favorites and plan on renting this place for the next 20 years until we retire to the area.
Why they chose this property
We love the close access to all the beaches and everything that is available in the Cape. We love that it sits on the water. We don't have to go under any bridges or worry about the tide with this home as it has direct gulf access.
What makes this property unique
It's a nice clean property with great customer service. Great access to Veterans bridge to get to Fort Myers and all the stadiums.
