Ideal for a family with children, quietly located in a hamlet of typical local houses, close to the sea (4 km from St Pierre en Port, 7 km from Fécamp, 25 km from Etretat) large flint house with 6 bedrooms, one of which has a shower cubicle and toilet, living room (50 m²) and dining room (45 m²) with direct access via French windows into an enclosed garden with flowers. Bathroom with toilet. Two-car garage and possibility of additional parking. Sleeps 12. Bed linen and some towels are provided and included in the rental price. It is possible to have a piano animation given by a pianist or to rent the half grand piano. To be discussed with the owner. Water and electricity consumption during the stay is at the tenant's expense. Water total incl. VAT per m3 excluding subscription 3.90 euros.
Electricity peak hours per 1 kWh 0.1798 euros. Electricity off-peak hours per 1 kWh 0.1344 euros.

Maison de campagne

Le positif : beau jardin fermé, grande table dans la salle, chambres confortables et propres Le négatif : - 3 salles de bain annoncées, en fait il n’y a que 2 salles de bain dont 1 dans une chambre. Les cabines de douche sont très petites ( grands et costauds s’abstenir) - 2 cuisines: obligation d’aller de l’une à l’autre pour pouvoir cuisiner tout en faisant le tour de la grande table. attention si vous mélangez la vaisselle de l’une et l’autre, on vous comptera des frais de ménage supplémentaires… - frais de serviette de toilette chers: 5 euros par serviette - frais de ménage en plus des 70 euros demandés pour : ranger une poêle et 2 casseroles restées à sécher sur l’égouttoir et une poubelle à vider. Ceci ne fait pas partie du forfait ménage , c’est en plus. Attention : eau et électricité à payer en plus. Le prix de la location n’est pas très élevé. On peut donc dire que le rapport qualité /prix ( hormis frais de ménage supplémentaires) est correct.

Some constructive observations

Slightly unkempt inside and out. The lighting in the house was inadequate. There was no mention of additional charges for water and electricity in the original details or for cleaning. However, the hostess was welcoming and charming and stayed in a separate part of the premises. It would have helped if there some staples like bread and milk for which we would have gladly paid. Overall, reasonable value but the property could do with updating. The showers were very small and we were surprised that there was a cramped toilet actually in a bedroom with no screening which made it very unattractive to the extent we did not use that bedroom. No doubt updating would be reflected in a higher price. We felt it had great potential which was not maximised. The living room and dining room were impressively spacious.

Bon WE entre amis

Le logement est bien situé, au calme, à la campagne et proche de la mer . Il peut accueillir 10 personnes sans difficultés. Un petit bémol: 3 salles de bains étaient annoncées dans l'annonce et il n'y en avait que 2, dont une dans une chambre.
