Great spacious cabin in the woods. Plenty of space, sitting areas, beds and large kitchen. Lots of windows and natural light and a beautiful creek. Host was wonderful and easy to communicate with.

My dog went for a walk on his own.

The place was great. Secluded but not far from a general store. Very nice, quiet and beautiful stream view. My dog went for a walk by himself on our checkout day and the owner was very gracious with our checkout time. I found him walking a trail behind the place about 6 hours after he left. We had walked the trail earlier looking for him and figured he had our scent there and wasn’t leaning. It all ended well but those are big woods for a city dog. Thanks again.

Beautiful and Secluded

We had a great time here for a fall getaway. The path along the Crown Creek is very scenic and our kids loved it, like our own private state park! The cabin is well designed and has many different spaces to read, play game, etc.

Finland Cabin

This cabin was in a good central location for anyone interested in hiking, biking, and general sightseeing. There are neighbors in the area however, they were randomly seen and never heard.

Pleasant, clean, quiet

Arrived late Friday of memorial day weekend. Spent a lot of our time out in Grand Marais and State Parks. The creek is a spectacular view.

Quiet, secluded, Beautiful!

We very much enjoyed the beautiful cabin, and setting. Highlights of this property for us were exploring the creek, enjoying the fire pit, the lovely cabin, and the proximity to many North Shore bays, parks and beaches.

Private, beautiful Property close to many outstanding hiking trails

The property is gorgeous! It is surrounded by large, full trees, flowers, and there is a river with a waterfall at the back of the property. There is a fire pit and a barbecue as well as a covered shelter to store wood. The inside of the house is spacious with beautiful views from every window. There is a 3 season porch that overlooks the waterfall, a reading room, a living room and family room plus a kitchen and dining area. We had a great time while we were there and hiked Baptism River, Temperance River, Split Rock, and Gooseberry Falls. We saw a lot of waterfalls on those hikes!

Great stay

We had a great time staying here. The location is perfect for day trips along the north shore. The house has everything you would want or need.
