I don’t want to give 5 stars, only out of selfishness. This house is a true home away from home. Rental homes have become a nightmare in recent years, but the time from booking, check in, staying, and check out was a dream.Host - Christa was communicative and friendly. She would send updates on check in time as well as answering questions I had throughout the stay. She wasn’t overbearing nor absent. Cleanliness - the house was immaculate. Fresh towels, sheets, empty dishwasher, and empty trash/recycling. One thing that I find off putting is odd odors in rentals. The entire house smelled lovely with no fake scents or candles. Comfort - every piece of furniture was lovely. We enjoyed the couches, dining chairs, back deck seating, and of course the beds. Everything was clean, soft, and cozy. There is an abundance of pillows, towels, blankets. Every room had a fan. Both floors had a NEST system to help keep the house comfy. The smart showers/upgraded bathrooms were a giant plus. The heated floors were the cherry on top.I used the kitchen, TVs, outdoor spaces. There are books and games galore, along with a lovely binder on the history of the home. My history graduate sister enjoyed reading through that on a rocking chair in the front porch.View is spectacular. Atmosphere cannot be beat. My family has already booked for December while we visit our loved ones in the area.
