Hi, I’m Rhonda! I’m an enthusiast of hiking, traveling, and cherishing moments with our pets, and I’m always staying busy. My passion is ensuring your stay at our Historic Inn is the best it can possibly be.

One of my absolute favorite places is the front porch—I love, love, love it! You can sit back and take in the beautiful views of the fields while watching the train roll by 3 or 4 times a day. The balcony offers equally stunning sights, and with five sitting areas, including porches and balconies, you’ll find a gorgeous view from nearly every exit. For a peaceful escape, head down to the creek—it’s a wonderful spot to relax and listen to the babbling water flowing over the rocks.

When I’m not hosting, you’ll likely find me at home, tending to my garden and flowerbeds. I adore gathering the harvest and preserving it for winter—canning green beans, tomatoes, salsa, beets, and more is a favorite summer pastime of mine. I am also the Financial Manager of a major Internet Retailer of Microscopes, that sell all over the world!

I can’t wait to share our Historic Inn with you and make your visit unforgettable. See you soon!

The creek that runs by the Inn is so serene. Sometimes, I sit on the edge of it and relax. It is so refreshing to my soul. The rolling hills and the blue sky during the day and the stars and moon at night, all give me a boost.

The Inn is definitely a place for all of these fun activiites or you can sit back and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
There is beauty everywhere you look, and the country air fills your lungs with the freshest air possible.

In addition to your fun and relaxation, The Inn's rich history makes it a great getaway for those who want to learn more about the past. With the pre-civil war log cabin inside, the cemetary dated around the Civil War that's located on the property, to all the old tractors and equipment from time gone by. It's full of history!
