This property is located in the village center, very closed to the Cartuja de Valldemossa, an impressive XIVth century monastery, in a narrow and quiet street.

Valldemossa village is the greatest beauty of Mallorca Island. It is among mountains and overlooking a valley.

There are no hotel complexes of great dimension, which ensures a quiet and exclusive holiday living the authenticity of the Sierra de Tramuntana, declared world heritage by Unesco in June 2011.

The house is fully refurbished, and it is so beautiful and nice that will make you feel like being at home, your real and comfortable home, while you are away, being on holidays. The lightful sitting room, with the sound of the wood in the fire place in winter, or the fresh air coming through all windows in summer, will make your holidays something unforgettable. You can enjoy a comfortable sofa bed with chaise longue in the sitting room. At night you will be able to sleep in the warm feather duvets, which will guarantee a lovely rest, getting ready for the next day. Afterwards you can have a lovely breakfast in the private terrace, overlooking La Cartuja and the typical rooftops of all surrounding houses.

Valldemossa center is 2 minutes far walking; you will find there all you need to make your stay comfortable. There is a local supermarket, corner bakeries, pharmacies, banks, shops, bars, restaurants, coffee shops.

There is also an easy access to the great outdoors for walkers and cyclists, and for young children playground.

There is a restaurant on the beach known for its excellent fish dishes, swimming and diving is also possible there. If you want you can drive to Deià, recently voted one of the most idyllic places to live. El Puerto de Soller is a beautiful place to visit as well, with its large sandy beach with boat rides and pedal boating. Soller has also the old steam train that takes you to Palma through the mountains.

Perfect location

This delightful little house is ideally located in the old part of this pretty town close to shops and restaurants. It is comfortable - including good heating - and well equipped. Macarena was very welcoming and keen to ensure that we had everything we needed to make our stay a success, which it was. We will certainly be back.

Amazing hospitality, wonderful stay

My friends and I had a fantastic stay in Macarena's house. Macarena is the most gracious hostess we've ever had. She told us all about the town, gave us maps, recommendations, and even took us on a boat tour of her favorite coves. The apartment is very comfortable and has a wonderful roof terrace for enjoying your breakfast or an aperitivo. I would highly recommend this apartment and definitely stay here again!

Macarena was a wonderful host - attentive, quick to respond, and lovely to interact with. There was a glitch with the internet server and she was very quick to act and get it fixed. I think in retrospect 4 adults in the space was too many for us, just in terms of not being then able to have the living room serve as a common space. The location is fabulous and we had everything we needed. Note that the downstairs apartment's patio is directly beneath the main bedroom and that can mean people noise when sleeping schedules differ. That may not be an issue most times but it is something to be aware of.

It is a pity that you had not arrived to the house yet when I explained to your colleagues how to convert the sofa into sofa bed and reverse. It is a very easy system that takes only a couple of seconds, so you can have a spacious sitting room during the day. I am so sorry that you could not use it as a common space, because its comfort and the easiness to convert it into a sofa bed were the reasons why I bought this model. Thank you for being so nice to me and my best wishes to you all.

Schöne Ferienwohnung in toller Lage, engagierte Vermieterin

Bereits im Vorfeld bei Fragen zur Unterkunft war Macarena sehr hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist toll zentral gelegen, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Die Dachterasse ist das Highlight. Die Unterkunft ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Es liegen zahlreiche Infomaterialien und tolle Karten bereit und Macarena gibt gern Tips zur Urlaubsplanung egal ob es um einen Besuch in Palma oder um Restaurants in Valldemossa geht. Wir hatten eine schöne Woche dort und würden gern wieder kommen.

COMO EN TU CASA!!!

Si lo que te gusta es disfrutar de tu visita a Mallorca sintiéndote como en tu casa, sin agobios de turismo masificado, en una casita a tu medida con todo lo necesario y en un entorno inmejorable como es el pueblo de Valldemosa, éste es tu sitio. Sin dudarlo. Además Macarena te dará toda la información que necesites de primera mano y contarás con su apoyo y experiencia. Muy recomendable.

Tolle Unterkunft, die Umgebung lädt zu Entspannung und Erholung ein...

Wir waren 2 Mädels und vom 4.11. bis 8.11.2015 in der Wohnung. Sie ist mit allem ausgestattet, was ein Erholungssüchtiger Mensch braucht, vor allem die tolle Sonnenterasse mit Blick über das Kloster und die Berge und der Kamin am Abend sind einfach wunderbar gewesen. Die Wohnung ist stilvoll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich sofort wohl, wenn man durch die Tür kommt. Macarena hat uns gleich am ersten Tag mit wertvollen Infos für die nähere Umgebung und die Insel versorgt. Sie ist für alle Anfragen offen, kam auch die Tage ein paar mal vorbei, um zu sehen, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Eine aufgeschlossene und nette Frau... Valdemossa bietet Raum für kleine Schlenderspaziergänge, einen Cafe am Platz, Zeit zu schwelgen und abzuschalten. Auch für Sportler ist die Möglichkeit gegeben, direkt von der Stadt in die Serra Tramuntana hochzukraxeln. Von Palma und anderen Ortschaften (z.b. Deia) nicht weit entfernt. Um an die Strände in der näheren Umgebung zu kommen sollte man allerdings wegen der kurvigen Bergstrassen etwas Zeit einplanen. Wenige Tage , die es aber in sich hatten. Ein wunderschöner Ort um Urlaub zu machen...übrigens auch mit Kindern!

Wunderschönes Altstadthäuschen

Wer gerne mitten in der Altstadt wohnt, ist hier genau richtig! Man ist in zwei Minuten mitten im Trubel von Valldemossa, kann einkaufen oder essen gehen und wohnt doch in einer sehr ruhigen Straße. Die Fotos zeigen genau das, was man vorfindet - ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen. Die Dachterrasse ist ein Traum, wenn wir sie auch leider nur einmal zum Kaffeetrinken nutzen konnten. Dafür können wir bestätigen, dass der Kaminofen sehr gut funktioniert. Macarena ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin, man fühlt sich wirklich als ihr persönlicher Gast. Alles hat reibungslos funktioniert! Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub!

Comfortable, traditional property.

We had the upper apartment at Macarena’s House and were delighted both with the accommodation and in particular with the private roof terrace. The property is situated in the very centre of Valldermossa, literally just just a hundred metres from shops and restaurants. Macarena, the owner, was a delightful host, always helpful and just a call or text away if needed but without being intrusive in any way. Recommend the property for anyone looking for a relaxing break and a centre for touring this beautiful area of Majorca.

Perfect location, accommodation and asvice

My wife, baby and I had a great week in valldemossa, the house location is perfect and the house is extremely well equipped and furnished to a high standard. Macarena provides you with all the info you could possibly need, and is always available if you need any advice on the local area or things to do. She ensured you feel at home. We will definitely return.

Location parfaite à tout point de vue

Accueil chaleureux et disponibilité à tout point de vue de la propriétaire des lieux. Maison confortable , meublée avec goût avec une mignonne petite terrasse. Le village est typique et charmant , on aime s'y promener le soir , la journée il fait très chaud en cette période . Je recommande sans retenue cette maison en location très abordable en prix.

Very pleasant stay in Valdemossa.

Our stay at Macarena's place was very pleasant. The place is very bright, airy, clean and confortable! Macarena is a very helpful host, she told us about all the places to visit and put herself available for any needs we had. The location is also really good! I'd highly recommend Macarena's place for anyone going to Valdemossa and would definitely stay there again if I go back.

Wonderful stay

This was our second stay in Macarena’s house within one year – and it won’t be our last. We (this time three adults) stayed for two weeks and we appreciated its comfort every day. Since we knew the location from the last visit, Macarena waited for us right in her house to hand over the key. For loading/unloading luggage, the car can be parked right in front of the house. The house is located in one of those fabulous side streets of Valldemossa, away from the main tourist stream, the only noise you can hear once in a while are the bells from the Cartuja. Whatever we needed (bank, post office,market, shops, Cafes, restaurants) is available within a one minute walk, even free (!) parking (no blue lines) for the rest of the vacation. In short, the infrastructure of the house and its surrounding is extremely convenient. Macarenas house is not too big and not too small, just very cosy and comfortable. Everything is there (and of course it works!) washing machine, kitchen stove, microwave, TV, strong WLAN (works even on the roof terrace). Sitting on the roof terrace you see the Cartuja in a 200 meters distance. Due to the glass door to the roof terrace and the roof window in one of the bedrooms there is natural light in the house even if all shutters are closed - great! Since the temperature was relative low outside, we appreciated electric heating in every (!) room. The house gets warm very soon. We met Macarena a few times; in the meantime we chatted via SMS or email. Her iPhone never seems to be off. Needless to say that we recommend her house for a comfortable stay. UNOS DÍAS INOLVIDABLES

Valldemossa es un pueblo muy bonito. Las calles son de piedra y todas las casas tienen muchas plantas y flores. Macarena nos recibió al llegar. Muy amable. Nos dio todas las explicaciones que necesitamos y nos regaló unas cocas de patata, que es el bizcocho típico del pueblo. Buenísimas!!! Cada día íbamos a comprar para tomar en el desayuno. La casa es perfecta, rústica pero con todas las comodidades. La calle es silenciosa y las vistas desde la terraza son muy bonitas. Ya le hemos dicho que volveríamos. Os lo recomiendo.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

My house is in the centre of the village, but in a very quiet street, plenty of flowers, where very few cars pass by.
Spending winter nights reading a book or listening to music or watching TV, while the fire place shows us the flames burning inside it, is a real pleasure.
In summer, being able to have breakfasts or dinners in the rooftop terrace, viewing La Cartuja's illuminated bell tower is really a wonderful experience.
The house, decorated in a romantic but functional style, will make you feel like at home, offering warmth and comfort, for you to spend a relaxing and wonderful stay, that you will always keep in your memory.
