Beautiful condo, beautiful view, and kind owner

Absolutely loved this condo. The owner did an amazing job upgrading the master shower; as well as all rooms in the unit. We had an amazing view that could see all along the beach and had easy access to Hwy59 businesses, as well as Orange Beach stores/restaurants.

Perfect week

We have stayed in many different condos in the Lighthouse complex and this has by far been the best. It was clean, updated, comfortable (even the beds,) and the owner was great to work with. We think they’ve upgraded the elevators to make them faster, so you can hear them running inside the room (not loud at all,) but once you turn on the ceiling fan, you can’t hear them. But, if you are a really light sleeper, you might want to bring a sound machine. Tons of people over memorial weekend, and we never waited over a minute for the elevator…not the case in years past. The master shower, so good!

Condo is beautiful with great view. Large balcony to relax while reading a book or a table and chairs to enjoy a meal. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone and looking forward to returning. Thank you for everything!

Perfect

From decor to cleanliness this property was a top notch property. I have been staying at the lighthouse since it was constructed. Our previous host had past away and his properties were sold. Jo was an amazing and dedicated host. Definitely wil lbe staying here again.

This place so far exceeded any other place we have stayed in Gulf Shores that there is no way to compare. The owners thought of EVERYTHING. The condo was pristine….dishes, utensils, appliances, bedding, linens….all superior! We visit Gulf Shores many times each year and THIS will be our condo and of choice!

Beach and Golf Getaway

We stayed in this condo for one week in March. Very updated with an awesome shower. This unit was very clean. We liked the balcony looking out to the beach and were able to see dolphins almost every day. Jo was very easy to work with. Would highly recommend this unit.

Very nice unit

Easy check-in; good instructions from owner. Very clean and well-appointed. Two large outside pools and one indoor pool. 3rd BR is small and has bunk beds.

Loved our stay!

We loved this unit! It was well-maintained and clean. Jo was very communicative and checked in to make sure everything was going well. We had a few rainy days, and I was so glad to be in this nice condo...we weren't cramped and it made the rainy days not so bad! The outdoor pools were great and beach and Gulf Shores access was easy! Thank you!

Wonderful condominium...great views!

The unit was spacious, the beds were comfy, and our hosts were excellent. The little touchs for the guests to use were very appreciated, and enabled us to get by until we went shopping. The gulf was full of dolphins and the spacious balcony and comfortable outdoor furniture made the balcony our favorite spot! The sunsets were spectacular. Tons of restaurants and stores were within walking distance. The nearby state park is a gem! Thank you Jo and Ed for sharing your condo with us!

Just what we needed!

Our week at Jo's condo at the Lighthouse was everything we had hoped it would be. The condo is immaculate, well decorated, and has everything needed for a week away from home. And, Jo could not have been more helpful and accomodating to us. We would not hesitate to stay there again for our next week at the beach, but next time we think we'll stay two weeks. It was that good.

Beautiful condo w amazing views

lighthouse complex is outstanding and easy to access. Views from rooms are spectacular Condo is very nicely decorated and spacious. The master shower is huge w walk-in opening. Owner was great to work w and responded quickly. Laundry in the condo is always a plus. Parking is one time fee. Elevators are quick. Pool area spacious. Great place to stay. Grab u beach towels and go.

Beautiful Condo perfect for a family vacay

The condo was beautiful with a breathtaking view of the white sandy beach and the clear waters of the Gulf. The only thing that dampened the trip was the terrible noise of construction daily beginning at 8am. It was unfortunate that we were unable to relax in the condo except at night when the construction stopped. However, we were blessed with perfect weather so we could rest and relax on the beach!

Really loved the condo

The condo was clean and nicely decorated and the manager was very friendly and great to communicate with. I have a feeling that if we had needed anything during our stay (although we didn't) we would have been taken care of. Items in the condo were well thought out like having night lights in the hallway, a rug at the front door, beach toys, hangers in the closet and so much more. The comforters on the bed even looked like they had just been cleaned which we have found to be rare with other condos we've rented. We really felt at home and had a wonderful time!

Not fun

It was going pretty well until day 2. We went and got groceries that morning and by the evening the frig was not cold. We were told that we shouldn’t have filled the frig up with the groceries. The repair man came and said it would be fine it just needed to catch up. By day 3, kitchen sink flooded on us as we were doing dishes. My husband, thankfully was able to fix it with no issues. Day 4, one of my kids was taking a shower and the shower head piece broke. Day 5, we went to go out and eat and when we returned, we were locked out. I reached out to the security to be told he couldn’t let us in with out speaking with the owner. Once I reached out to the owner we were asked why we were locked out, but ultimately was allowed access into our room. We decided to leave a day early as it was a mess.

We are a retired militay family growing up in the midwest and living in Europe, South America and the Far East. We discovered the Alabama gulf coast in the mid 80's and have made it our favorite vacation destination ever since.

We purchased our first condo in Gulf Shores in 1986 and have been renting vacation properties ever since. We now have two condos, one in Orange Beach and the Lighthouse unit. We chose the Lighthouse for all the amenities and great location. We strive to make your vacation experience as simple and enjoyable as possible.
