About this property

Oceanfront and Convenient Location

This 2-story, spacious house sits on concrete posts right over the ocean water. You will see 5-foot mantayrays rummaging the ocean floor under the house along with other fish, and on occasion, dolphins! You can fish right from the house deck or feel free to use our snorkel gear to hop off of the front porch and dive straight into the sea.

This home is an ideal combination of seclusion and convenience. There is a beach just a minute walk from the home. The town is a 7-minute bike ride and the super market is a 5-minute walk. You will take a short, 100 meter walk from the street on a jungle path to this hidden home over the water.

There are two bicycles available along with two paddle boards (with a returnable deposit) to jump right from the ocean deck into the water.

Snorkel gear and ocean gear is included.

This home has air conditioning and warm water.

GREAT HIDEAWAY ON THE WATER

All the comforts of home with a great view! We thoroughly enjoyed having those covered decks during the heavy rains!

Reading on the water

Bocas del Toro

Charming house on the water - can take the paddle board out right from the back porch! Lauren was a lovely host - easy to communicate with and very helpful. The bedrooms just have curtains, not doors, which was fine for us but if you are traveling with folks that need more privacy keep this in mind.

For younger people

The place is large and would be great for two couples. Of note is that the bedrooms are separated by paper screens, so there isn't much privacy. Also, one neighbor plays very loud music most of the time, but will turn it down some at a request from the host. The host is wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The steps to the deck, and those leading upstairs to the bedrooms are way too steep for a person with arthritis.I love that the water taxi comes right to your own deck. Bring a LOT of bug repellant.

We live on the main island with our two children, ages 4 and 6. We are water lovers; we love surfing, snorkeling, water skiing and beach hopping. This is an ideal place for families and nature-lovers.

This property is special because it comes with the convenience of accessibility to town, though it has a hidden, secluded location that is nature-abundant.

What makes this property unique

This home is equipped with all amenities and ‘toys’ that one could need from a vacation home over the sea: paddle boards (just straight off the deck to the house onto an adventure!), giant floats and inner tubes, 2 adult bicycles (childrens’ bicycles may be rented), snorkel gear, beach towels, childrens’ toys and books, television with cable.
