Great location in heart of Vail Village only a few steps from Gondola One and Vail ski rentals. Restaurants and shops all around. Comfortable accommodations.
Lovely unit, well managed. Location is truly exceptional. Check in is a bit challenging because cars aren’t allowed to get close to the unit, but the staff was helpful in getting everything over to the unit. Can’t wait to return.

Perfect location !
This condo is older but very well maintained . There is maid service each day which is very nice. Perfect location right in the heart of Vail village . We stayed Wednesday -Saturday and Friday night was a bit loud from the bar right below the condo but only on Friday . Furniture in living room is old but we just layed sheets out and it was fine . Condo offered everything needed in the kitchen as well as bathrooms . The air conditioners in the bedrooms were great ! I would recommend this condo !
The location was great and I guess on price for Vail. I was expecting somoen more modern with better furniture and linens for the price I paid, but that's Vail I guess, supply and demand. Some lights were burnt out and some kitchen lights flickered. I didn't report it, no big deal, just small details.
Location is the best place in the entire valley where everyone comes to…walk out the door and you’re on Gondola 1 or any restaurant on Bridge St. Inside was very spacious, clean and in great shape. Yes, as the pictures show it’s a little dated but no sweat here. Parked at Founders Garage but didn’t see the car all week, didn’t need to. Walk directly across the street and you’re drinking a margarita at The Red Lion, or underneath having a pizza at Vendetta’s, or 100 ft (away from the mountain) and your toasting at Pepi’s.
Check-in was seamless, check-out was same, extremely nice people
Would stay here again and again and again.
Wonderful Accommodation in a Not So Wonderful Location
The apartment was very nice and well-appointed. Check-in was simple. The unit is right in the heart of the village and only steps away from several restaurants and shops which is great when you’re up and about. Our stay was on Saturday and Sunday nights in the middle of July. Unfortunately, the A/C unit in the room in which my wife and I slept was not working. Therefore, we needed to open the windows to cool the room at night. This would’ve been fine during the week but on the weekend nights that we were there, the bar directly across from those windows was packed with partiers until 2:00-2:30am each night. Also, there was a hot-dog cart directly underneath the windows and there were several loud, drunken conversations and arguments that took place around the cart during those early morning hours. Thus, we got very little sleep while we were there.
That said, we still managed to enjoy our visit to Vail.

Spare yourself
Messaged them several times before our trip thru vrbo & also text with no response. When we arrived I asked for a smaller unit since part of our group hadn’t come and they said no. Got into our unit and called about the AC. They said it hasn’t been working in a long time. They suggested we leave the windows open. Would’ve been fine but there’s a restaurant and a bar below so lots of noise till about 2am. Housekeeping missed some falsies among other things. There were no towels for the hot tub. The unit needs a refresh.
You absolutely cannot beat this location. It is as good as it gets in Vail. And the condo is very spacious with super comfortable beds. Highly recommend!
Great stay for our family for some spring skiing. The location is superb and the unit was spacious and clean. We had a clogged sink and the maintenance guys were there in 10 minutes to clear it. Highly recommend this unit.
This unit has a great location. After picking-up groceries after check-in, we parked the car and didn't touch it for 5 days. It's a short walk to everything you need - the gondola, ski rentals, restaurants, bars, coffee, shopping. If I come to Vail again, I'd stay here.
Excellent place to stay and at the heart of Vail village!
Great place to stay in Vail. 4 stars because the first time I booked it was rejected then listed for a higher price. I went ahead and booked it again because that’s where I wanted.
Great property in the heart of Vail Village!! Loved being able to walk to everything and we quickly found our favorite coffee spot, breakfast joint and afternoon margarita stop off. Both AC units were broken and not fixed during our stay but we had fans and managed with the hot afternoons. We would definitely come back!
Location near the fountain in the plaza was perfect. Parking is not included and the process to transfer luggage from the car to the rental is arduous.
Awesome location and great condo. Only recommendations to the owner - add a couple of more box fans for summer. Fans were provided but a couple of more would be good as loft gets warm. Also, need some additional comforters because bedrooms get cold at night (which is good) but needed extra comforters. Otherwise, awesome place. Will definitely stay again and property managers were "johnny on the spot" for any requests.
We loved the location and walk ability to so many great places and access either direction. The only thing I was surprised about was the listing says a king bed in both the Master and 2nd bedroom but we had twin beds in the 2nd room.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for your kind review, Crystal. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay and the central location of this property . We are sorry for the bedding confusion, in some of our units we make the 2 twins into 1 king per request from the guests . We look forward to having you back again soon!
Certainly in the middle of Vail - hard to be any more central.
I was surprised that there was no air conditioning, but most places in Vail do not, although some properties offer portable A/C. With Global warming summers are a bit too warm for no A/C. WIndows opened at night helped, but then there was a lot of noise from the nearby restaurants and bars.
Kitchen, dining room and living room were very large. Sofa could use some new foam, but otherwise very comfortable and attractive spaces.
The fireplace/mantle was very attractive and I can imagine it would be a welcome on a cool evening.
Both bathrooms were very nice.
The loft is best for children in the winter. Ceiling too low for an adult and way too warm in the summer as there are no windows or ventilation to provide cooling.
Wifi was at times spotty. Some times excellent other times non-responsive.
Well stocked in the kitchen, ample dishes, glassware, wine and champagne glasses. Also appropriate appliances and a good 5 burner gas stove.
Lots of hangers in the closet, something that is often missing in a rental home.
Pictures on the website might lead you to believe that it is a stand-alone house, but it is in a 3 story (probably 9 units) building..
I only gave it a 4 for cleanliness as there was some piece of food in the oven had been baked to a crip with a pan of drippings under it. Obviously housekeeping forgot to check the oven.
Parking is free, but a 10 minute walk away. Not sure how you move your luggage when there is snow on the ground. Find out before you book.
Would I stay again? I was in Vail for my niece's wedding. I suspect if I was going for skiing I might go elsewhere. The altitude is a deterrent. In terms of a place to stay - i would definitely return.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback regarding your recent summer stay at Plaza Lodge condos . It's clear you're a seasoned traveler and provided many helpful suggestions throughout, all of which we will take to heart.
Vail Village streets are heated in the winter time and we also have bellstaf to assist with luggage. We look forward to welcoming you, and your family, back soon.

Great Location
This condo is in a perfect place in the heart of Vail village right across the street from the Red Lion and right above Vendettas. The condo is spacious and, though it has been there a few years, has been really well maintained. The deck out back has nice views but is not very large. It was nice that the condo is maintained as part of the Christianna Hotel, having access to their pool a block away and getting maid service every day. However we had a problem with the air conditioner being broken in the bedroom on a hot weekend and the people at the desk there didn't seem to care about our problem during multiple calls and they weren't willing to compensate us for the discomfort. Otherwise I would have given this 5 stars. You can't beat the location and being a block from the gondola. This didn't bother us but keep in mind that you have to cart everything about a block from your car to the condo since it's in the village. They gave us free parking in the Vail public parking lot about 4 blocks away. Definitely a nice place to stay in Vail.
