Very disappointed. Will not be staying here again

The place was not well maintained. The air conditioner caused a large leak in the ceiling. Maintenance was eventually called out. They came when we were not there and left the outside door unlocked when they left. They put a sign on the thermostat instructing is not to adjust it during our stay so it was hot and miserable in the condo. The management company was rude when we spoke with them. I feel bad for the owner as he did not seem aware of the issues with the condo nor the rudeness of the management company.

Never again in Beachwalk Condominium 14F

Below is the Email I sent to Vacasa after checking out of our condo today. Hi, we will not be returning to this condo and will likely never book through Vacasa again. The trip was great as long as we were not in the condo. The floor tiles were not stuck down, paper peeling off the front of the cabinets, black mold growing in an old leak hole in downstairs bathroom ceiling, carpets were stained and felt nasty, kitchen trash can had nasty liquid dried in the bottom, it smelled dank, dishes had residue left in them, the lights in the master bedroom flickered, we bought bed sheets to cover the beds because of a comment left in a book on the kitchen counter regarding a blue blanket (they *the sheets we bought to cover the bedding* are in the dumpster with the rest of our trash). The air conditioning return in the ceiling upstairs has not been cleaned in what appears to be an eternity (a nice surprise I found the night before our check out) which means my family and I were breathing in nasty dusty air but were instructed not to turn the thermostat down lower than 75 I'm assuming to save money on power bill. Cleaning that nasty grate will help alone. This is all beyond unacceptable for the price charged for this condo. We have pictures of everything mentioned above just incase y'all would like to see the condition of a run down, nasty condo y'all are allowing families to book. Thank you.

Need update

The only problem we had was that the cabinets both restroom need updating there was no trash can I’m restrooms and the vinyl floors were loose or missing also the pull out bed in living room was falling apart.

Spacious, but outdated.

Older condo with outdated furniture in the bedrooms. If and when the owner changes the washer/dryer, carpet, blinds, bedroom furniture and bathroom sinks, it would be much more comfortable.

Stay in Florida

The home could do with a lot of updates. The carpet is worn and there's a musty odor in the home. The furnishing are falling apart, all the bathrooms can do with a SOME updating as the fixtures are coming apart and they are water stained marks in the bathroom. Basic items like a dustpan, hangers working bedroom lights would be a plus. There are other options, no sure about staying in this home

Nice clean unit, very convenient to the pool. Complex was mostly nice and quiet, except for a couple of teens who wanted to crank up their tunes way loud - that didn't last very long, though! It is quite a walk to the beach - I did not mind, b/c we travel lightly, But for someone with small kids & their gear, it might be better to take the car and park in one of the public beach lots. That short hike to the beach is probably why the pricing for this unit is so reasonable. This area of the beach is really great - not nearly as crowded and busy as other parts. Pier Park is not far from this unit also - for dining and shopping options. Would definitely rent again!

Clean & comfy - would definitely stay again

Clean unit, quiet complex. Loved that this one is close to the pool. Very comfy beds. A few blocks to the beach, but no big deal: probably why this was so reasonable.

Nice place, but ..

First off, this is a nice property. It really is. Well maintained exterior and quite. We didn't have any problems at all with noise from neighboring guest or occupants of other condos. The interior of this condo has obviously been updated recently as all appliances, silverware, plates, cups and kitchen cabinets seemed new. I think the couch and loveseat are new. We stayed in one night and cooked and had everything we needed. We used the gas grill on premises and it was fairly new as well. The upstairs bathroom shower has excellent water pressure! The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning works great!! The place was pretty clean too. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating is the stale cigarette smoke stench inside the condo. It is pretty obvious that either whoever lives/lived in this condo smoked (inside the condo) and /or the previous renter smoked during their stay. There was an ashtray with ashes in it on the upstairs balcony. Someone needs to go in and give the closet doors, walls, baseboards, celing fans, vent,, etc., with some bleach, or vinegar, or ammonia, or something!!! Maybe hire a professional to come in and clean. The condo was listed as non-smoking. We bought some air fresheners and it helped a little. I would stay here again if I knew someone had removed the smoky smell because it really is a nice place and that was my only complaint.
