Why Stefan Trego chose Watkins Glen
We've both grown up on the water and love boats. After enjoying a couple summers aboard we wanted to share the enjoyment with others!

Different experience on a beautiful lake.
This was a surprise anniversary get away for me and my husband. We found the boat to have everything necessary for a romantic getaway. The surroundings were peaceful and relaxing, Seneca lake is beautiful with clear water. You are within walking distance of the town, restaurants, local bars. It's a short ride to the entrance of Watkins Glen which holds a spectaclular walking experience. Wear comfortable walking shoes/boots and bring water. You can bring a lunch in a backpack and enjoy the day.
The boat is small and has narrow stairs to the bathroom, the compost toilet wasn't an issue. The amenities were rustic but functional. Stefan was always available for questions and accomodating. The kayaks were a great feature and it was so peaceful to take them out. We didn't use the paddle board but it was available. There is a shower and sink in a very rustic shed, it did provide what we needed and the water pressure was great. It was so hot out that the only recourse was to take a cool shower, there isn't air conditioning in the shed. We experienced rough seas on the last day so beware if you get motion sickness or are not steady on your feet. If you are looking for a posh experience this isn't for you, but if you want a different experience and are adventurous we would recommend you stay on Pieces of Eight. Pete and Ginnie Vota
Watkins Glen is thriving with foodie favorites, many of which are mere minutes walking distance from the boat. The area is very diverse, so you can find everything from a quick slice of pizza to hand-crafted, farm-to-table fare. Walk a little further into town and discover the world famous Watkins Glen State Park Gorge trail. Immerse yourself in nature, relaxation, and great food!
