This was the perfect home for our quick getaway to the beach. The house is just a minute walk to the beautiful, sandy beach. The golf cart was a perfect way to scope out the area. Loved Our Stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Cindy was always quick to respond, and the house was exactly what our family of 4 needed. Great location. The house looked exactly like the pictures, so cute! This was our first time in Ocean Lakes and while it is packed, it is great for a family. If you are annoyed by kids and teens having fun then maybe not the community for you. We can't wait to come back!! Thanks again Cindy!!!

Excellent Trip to Ocean Lakes!!

From the beginning to end of our vacation we had a blast. There were no hiccups while staying at this beautiful cottage by the beach! It fit our family of four perfectly with plenty of space for everyone. Being 5 houses down from the beach was very nice and allowed us a 1-2 minute walk. The optional golf cart was an added bonus as well! Overall superb trip with a great Hostess Cindy who made sure everything was top notch. If you want to have a great vacation in a pet friendly home this is it folks! We will definitely stay here again!!

Nice cozy bungalow

We liked the location. It was clean. My suggestion would be to take stand out of smaller bedroom and put a tall chest of drawers in. Also leave instructions for the tv’s. The property manager came over in short time to figure out the remotes. It is big enough house for two to four people.

Perfect for a Getaway!

We really enjoyed our time at Ocean Lakes! The golf cart was great for getting around and we found our neighbors and fellow Ocean Lakers to be kind! It really is just steps away from the Ocean and we found the beach to be walkable and full of families enjoying their stay. The unit was clean, we opted for the linen rental and found that to be easy and we had enough towels for the week! The air and heat both worked well (we needed both!). We found the unit pet friendly as is Ocean Lakes with the doggy bags seemingly everywhere! The decor was well done, giving it a cozy beach vibe, and we found the internet suitable for streaming. Well done, cute unit, we hope to come back!

Bungalow

The original structure that was used as the foundation must have been a 1970’s travel that has serious subfloor damage. There were several places in the floor that felt like we were going to fall through. The hallway that lead from the kitchen to the bedroom and bathroom was extremely narrow to walk through. I opened one pocket door to the bathroom to find it covered in mold. We rented the golf cart from the manager for $75 cash once we got there. The cord from the charger didnt have a ground on it which made me nervous to plug and unplug it. I dont usually write bad reviews on rentals but felt that other renters should know more about what they will be paying for on their well deserved vacations.

Hi Jennifer, I wanted to respond to address your concerns. The homeowners do have the flooring on schedule to be repaired within the next month. It is a brand new floor, but the contractor that laid the flooring failed to do the subfloor properly so it does have to be replaced. This has unfortunately only been noticed most recently, I suppose due to substantial rainfall, and is now on schedule to be repaired. I wish I had known about the golf cart plug, we would have had that replaced immediately as it will be replaced today! The payment for the golf cart was in an effort to save you from paying extra fees on top of the golf cart fee through the website and credit card convenience fees. We value our guest and know all too well that each and every guest has worked very hard for their money and do absolutely deserve a wonderful vacation and all our previous reviews reflect that we aspire to create a cozy, comfortable space for our guest and will continue to do so. Thank you for the feedback and I can assure you these items will be replaced/repaired very shortly!! I hope you still enjoyed your stay and hope you would consider returning. Have a wonderful holiday season and thank you for staying with us.

Cozy Beach Cottage

The Easters were so pleasant and their manager, Cindy, was the absolute best! We extended our stay and had to move to this location. Cindy was quick to process our registration so our move flowed smoothly. The house is gorgeous and literally minutes walk to the beach (depending on what you're taking with you). Even our dog was more relaxed in this location. Definitely top shelf all the way around.

Precious Bungalow Steps from the beach and more!

What an adorable bungalow right up from the beach! The entire complex was the perfect place to spend Fall Break with my husband and two young children. Every room was decorated with cute beach vibes, and it was just a great space for us to enjoy as a family. We played endless card games in the cozy living room at night after playing on the beach and using the OL recreational facilities all day! We highly recommend this spot to any couples or families. Also, the host was amazing! She was available literally any time and answered all of my questions, on top of just being super friendly and accommodating. We appreciated her so much!
