April 21st-25th. We loved the place. Everyone was friendly. The pool was big and fun atmosphere. The beach was small but enjoyed wading in the water and watching the boats come in. Lots of good restaurants nearby. We are already planning our next trip.

Little Slice of Paradise

The condo was clean and neat and was stocked with all that we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the pool area, clean and sparkling plus the private beach was such a bonus. We were a little disappointed that the cafe and bar area were closed. We so enjoyed the beautiful view from our balcony overlooking the conservation area and ocean beyond.

Perfect Place for a Couple

What a great place for a getaway in the Keys. When you and your partner need a break, this cozy condo would be a great choice. Conveniently located between Key Largo and Islamorada, its a good location for any upper Keys excursion. Something I really appreciated were the items left behind for the next guest, specifically the coffee! After getting in at 1:30AM, it was nice to have a cup before going to the store. I look forward to going back!

A nice, short stay

Condo had sufficient, airy space, although the pull out couch was uncomfortable. Owners should remove their personal items. Easy access to the highway. Tiny balcony. Tv didn't work in the bedroom. Nice amenity touches in the bathroom. Overall a pleasant stay.

Spacious Condo

This condo was very clean and spacious. There were many added amenities that we did not have in another condo on this property. The host was very responsive and helpful. The pool area is very kid-friendly. It appeared that parents allowed their children to use the hot tub as a kiddy pool - many kids in there with their toys. That was worrisome for me. That water was very hot, and kids were in there for a long time.

Fantastic condo!

My husband and I stayed here for a week and it was fabulous! First of all, it was very clean and updated. It contained everything we needed, from linens and utensils to coolers and beach items. The balcony overlooked a nature preserve and the ocean was off in the distance. It was beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful. The property grounds are clean and well maintained and the pool area was wonderful. Very big pool with lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The owner Isaac was a pleasure to communicate with. He was quick to respond and helped us with whatever we needed. Checking in was super easy. I would definitely recommend this rental!

Quick Florida Vacation

The property is very clean, however does show some wear. Nothing worse than a loose door between the bedroom and bathroom. Easy access to the pool and pier. The beach is more for lounging and waiting. Pleanty of little critters to catch at lowtide. Fish and bird watching was nice by the pier and marina. Grilling was easy and private, kitchen was great for our small family. Seafood markets were just 7miles up the road. Although the ocean is visible it is about a 10 minute walk to reach any accessible point. Overall, it was a great stay and we enjoyed the property. Very cozy. There is room for 2 to enjoy a coffee looking out over the conservation area with an ocean view and a great look at the sunrise to start the day.

Need to Upgrade Bed

Positives: There is a security guard that controls access to this property. The pool was very large and beautiful. View from the apartment was amazing. Property was very clean. Apartment was clean and nicely decorated. Negatives: 1. the bed was uncomfortable, very little sleep during our stay. The mattress is a pillow top which they flipped so that you are sleeping on the underside of a mattress that was not designed to be flipped. The put a memory foam topper on the backside of the mattress to make it comfortable and apparently to extend the life of the mattress. this did not work. Very uncomfortable. In addition the whole bed would move every time either of us rolled over. And since the mattress was uncomfortable I tossed and turned all night. 2. There is a bright light right outside the bedroom window which can not be turned off. it was like daylight in the bedroom. We covered the window with the extra sheets we found which helped but not enough. Plan to wear eyeshades if you are sensitive to light while sleeping. The bedroom needs light darkening window coverings. 3. Living room needs lamps so that you can turn off the stark over head lighting to read or watch tv. 4. The sofa needs to be replaced as it sags in the middle. It is important to remember that what people are paying for is a comfortable sleeping experience. If that is lacking everything else will start to annoy,

Lovely Condo for a 2-3 Day stopover!

Great condo with excellent hosts! The host never missed a beat on communication and answered all our questions in a timely manner. The condo is a little 'snug' of heaven...located on the edge of a conservation area. Access to convenience shops and full-sized grocery stores within 2 1/2 miles. SUPER.

Great honeymoon spot

This place was perfect for our honeymoon. It was close to everything, Key Largo is one way and Islanmorada the other. Very clean and had all the necessities. Isaac made us aware that we could extend our stay for 2 more days, which we decided to do. He was very helpful, even when the payment was wrong, he refunded the over amount with no issues. Would stay again if I travel that way.

Great place, almost perfect

Overall the place was very nice. Comfortable bed, full kitchen, nice bathroom, and a washer/dryer that was lovely after a week of traveling the Keys. The pool was very nice, with a small walk to get to it. The beach left a lot to be desired. It is in no fault of Isaac the owner, because he can’t control the awful seaweed problem that plagues most of the Keys. But if you are coming to the Keys and expecting nice beaches anywhere, it’s the wrong place. Overall my family and I enjoyed our short stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

Hi, my name is Ben. My wife, Caroline, and I live in Miami with our young daughter. Growing up in Southern California, I love the water and consider the Keys a magical place. Caroline has lived in South Florida for 25 years and considers the Keys her backyard. In addition to our daughter, we have 2 furbabies. We founded a non-profit animal rescue organization and foster dogs until they find their forever home. We are nature-lovers and love being active outdoors. After a day of kayaking, we enjoy relaxing on the pier enjoying the sunset views. Our daughter enjoys walking the nature trails and splashing around in the water. We know how it is to travel with a little one, so if you are coming with a toddler we provide a Pack n’ Play and booster seat free of charge to lighten your load. We also provide a Playstation 3 for your older kids (or you!). We look forward to sharing our home with you!

Why they chose this property

We love escaping to the Keys, it is a perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and relax! Tavernier is the perfect spot .The drive from Miami is only about an hour and half and scenic with beautiful ocean views. We also like that we can take a day trip to the lower Keys and Key West from Tavernier. Our daughter loves seeing the rehabilitating birds at the Wildlife Bird Sanctuary just a half mile away. With a view of the ocean, we enjoy relaxing on the balcony watching the nesting hawk with binoculars (provided for you too!).
