WELCOME ABOARD TO ONE OF LARGER COTTAGES ON THE CAMPGROUND.

Comfortable and spacious cottage in the center of KEY LARGO, close to all activities, Publix, bars and restaurant.

ENJOY THE BEST SUNSETS OF THE FLORIDA KEYS IN THE HAMMOCK AREA IN THE SAND.

The cottage has a huge outdoor kitchen with sink and BBQ area, also has a terrace with fans and private Wi-Fi.

We are a gated community with 24-hour security.
The facility park has a heated pool, basketball court, tennis court, boat ramp and a children’s playground among many other things.

Calusa is conveniently located next to John Pennekamp Park, Fishing Charters, Snorkeling, Scuba Diving and some of the best Seafood restaurants in town.

Outside the best bbq and kitchen,
You can find everything you need for excellent BBQ and enjoy a lovely terrace!
There is no cooking inside with the exception small meals or breakfast

Quiet time is at 11:00pm

Only adult drive it
Only allowed to drive inside the calusa campground

Loved our mother daughter trip so much. The perfect location!! We were able to visit the Everglades, Key West and enjoy everything Key Largo had to offer. This home away from home was absolutely perfect. Well maintained and super clean!!The owner is very responsive and easy to communicate with.Would love to say here again if we ever decide to make another trip to the area.

We had the perfect stay for our work retreat, and saved several hundred off of the resort right down the street. Check in was easy and the place was very clean. There’s no mirrors outside of the bathroom, so we had to take turns getting ready, but minor issue. We didn’t use the pool, but it was nice and the hammocks nearby were very relaxing.

We returned to this campgrounds based on previous trip satisfaction. This was larger as we had an additional person. This place and the host met our expectations completely! Clean with many amenities extra. Very responsive to our questions! Many thanks!

Cottage itself was nice, host communicated reliably. Nice pool towelsother linens. Extra coffee/coffee add ons available in cabinet were very helpful. Comfortable, clean, well stocked. Very comfortable beds. Felt safe and enjoyed outdoor patio area, would have liked it better if all fans/colored lighting worked but those are very minor. Would recommend dark curtains in secondary bedroom, as street lights and morning light create sleep disturbance for some. Laundry area was nice, LOVED outdoor kitchen. Felt slightly uncomfortable with camera on outdoor area but understand why it was there. Close to state parks, Publix, fast food, and variety of sit down restaurants. All following is no fault of owner: went on Memorial Day weekend, so there were a LOT of people. Couldn't use pool much, as it was packed, dirty, and we didn’t feel welcome. Over weekend, it was a huge party scene: loud people, kids driving golf carts, extremely loud music late into night.Hammocks are older; could be replaced. Couldn't use fire pits at beach area, assume out of propane or it could have been user error. Must wear shoes, sand is rough and could use more. Couldn't walk around much of marina walk way, considered private and is roped off.Entrance to campground was sketchy sorry but it was not elegant, or even pretty. Hopefully, campgrounds owners were changing landscaping? Once pool was cleaned, it was nice. Once all other guests left, place was very quite.

Family Getaway

The property was very clean and spacious for our family of 5. The campground neighborhood had a lot to offer for entertainment. The owners were very attentive and quick to respond to our needs. We had a very enjoyable time! I highly recommend!

Quick Keys Get Away

Just right size for 4 adults. Clean, and nicely updated with recent remodeling even though we spent most of the time on patio. Exuberant neighbors partied into the wee hours Great sunsets and pool.

Clean! So adorable! Safe! Perfect for our family of 4!

This home was perfect. It was spotless upon arrival. Easy checking. Security always at the gate. A pool, you can fish at the docks, and the locals were so friendly. This place literally has everything you need. We used the washer and dryer so much. It was handy to have. We would definitely come back.

Great base for exploring and running a race

Great base for Key Largo. Unit was clean, comfortable, and reasonably well stocked. The outdoor area and washer/dryer were great. Listing as 2 bathrooms is a little iffy. It had a nice bathroom and an outdoor shower. Also, there was no method for doing any baking. Not a big deal but we wanted to make some brownies. We didn't get a chance to use the camp amenities but they looked nice. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Mold

There was back mold on the mattress and in the AC unit of the sun porch. The owner offered to clean it but it needed more attention than that and we could not stay there. The campground was not very nice but the listing was nice besides the mold. It took a month or more to get a refund.

The place was very clean and well kept. AC worked fantastically. My only complaint was the check in process with the campground itself. I didn't understand that I had to go into their office and those people working there were not super communicative. That is not the host fault. My only other suggestion was that there was no oven or toaster oven. We bought frozen pizza's and had no way of cooking them.

This is the perfect place to go to unwind and relax. The sunsets are absolutely amazing. Countless options to enjoy... from spending a day in our comfortable cottage to going out on the boat through the accessible marina. This place has it all. A playground for the kids, a pool to relax in after the boat day, tennis and basketball courts.

ALL MAJOR HOLIDAYS ARE CELEBRATED. Enjoy all the different events and functions Calusa has to offer.
