We loved our stay here - especially Petunia. Walkable to the local restaurants, shops, and super close to the beach. Communication with Pat was prompt and personal! Great host and we loved taking advantage of the pool every night.

Great winter break from Ohio

My wife and I very much enjoyed this cottage. Great location and neighborhood, comfortable and cute as can be, couldn't be more convenient, and simply made our two week vacation great!

Fantastic Stay

The property was as described, communication with the owner was seamless, and the location was excellent (only a few minute walk to the beach and close to several good restaurants). Highly recommended!

Great stay. As advertised.

Had a 7 night stay. The house was great. Everything you need for your stay. Was clean and in great condition. Pat is an excellent host from booking all the way through your stay. Wonderful neighborhood close to beach access and walking distance to some great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

What a week

We had a great stay at Mellow Yellow. Two adults and two older kids and a small dog were all comfortable. The location is great for the beach and close to a lot of restaurants. We will look up Mellow Yellow for future stays. Incredible service and communication from the host.

A wonderful week!

Our family had the best time! The location was awesome for walkability to restaurants, the beach, and beautiful sights. The house was the perfect space for us and had all the amenities to make it a seamless experience. I loved the overall atmosphere of the neighborhood, too! And Pat was lovely to coordinate with.

Great vacation spot

The property is convenient to the beach, pool and shopping. Very cozy for family of five. Especially appreciated the owner’s willingness to allow our dog to stay with us. This eliminated the worry about our fury child and minimized stress on her as well. Thank you so much for the hospitality. We’ll definitely look for this place in the future!

Fabulous Location

Your not going to find a better location. Close to the beach and the biking trail. Close to great restaurants too. How great it was to have your own community pool, and what a cute community! Pat was so helpful during our stay, answered so many questions (and even helped us find an extra parking spot when our son came to visit). We hope to be back next year!

Loved my stay

I loved my stay, it was exactly as I expected. I arrived an hour early but the owner had already messaged that the house was ready if that happened to be the case. She was accessible by phone when I locked myself out accidentally. I is Just a short walk to the beach. Lovely neighborhood. I highly recommend a stay here.

Beach vacation

My husband and I rented this Mellow Yellow cottage for a beach getaway. It was great for what we needed. Full kitchen, clean, short walk to the beach, the closet on the deck was stocked with everything we needed for the beach ( chairs, wagon, umbrella etc) The owner, Pat was fantastic to work with! She answered every question and even messaged us the 1st day to make sure everything was acceptable with our cabin. We would for sure stay again

Great location to beach

The house was in a great location, a short walk to the beach. The area has lots of restaurants and things to do. The house accommodated 4 adults nicely, plenty of space. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beds are comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. If your going to cook it has everything you need to prepare a meal. The only thing I would bring is a hairdryer as the one there is great for short hair but not enough blowing power for long hair. I would come back again and the owner is great with communication.

We absolutely loved the Mellow Yellow! Cleanliness and creature comforts: The beds were very comfortable, the linens and towels were clean and smelled fresh, and the closets had tons of space and hangers. The kitchen is well stocked. The whole place was clean and free of pet hair/smells despite being pet friendly. I LOVED the balconies with hammocks. The balcony and lower porch facing the pool are in the shade all day and were absolutely perfect for relaxing after the beach. Dog Friendly: The owner allows dogs and didn't surprise us with any additional fees. My dogs were comfortable and happy and there are pet clean-up stations around the neighborhood. Location: It's in a very quiet and peaceful community and felt very safe. The beach access couldn't be more conveniently located. There is an outdoor rinse-off station and bathrooms at the access and the beach itself wasn't too crowded, even in April! There are tons of amazing restaurants nearby- some even in walking distance. We tried a few from the list the owner provided and they were great. Communication: The owner was super friendly and easy to communicate with. They messaged to make sure checkin went smoothly and even mailed me an item I left behind. Overall: Great value for the price! We would absolutely book again!

Mellow Yellow

House was great. Close to beach although we came during an abnormal cold spell. Our Aussie felt at home and we felt safe leaving him while we went out. I had a dumb attack the first few minutes and locked us out of the house with our Aussie inside. Pat sent someone over promptly and got us back in. Had to leave a day early due to weather up north but will come back anther time

Absolutely Pup and Family Friendly

We had an amazing trip thanks to Mellow Yellow! We searched many properties for an actual “pet friendly” place to stay for our vacation. We either were given a limit of 1 (a few with 2) small breed or 1 dog under 50lbs. Mellow Yellow was the only real pup friendly place we found! Everything was clean! There was a list of pet friendly places nearby. The location is perfectly placed between the beach and stores! Communication was fantastic and quick! So many positives about this place! The best part was our entire family (because our pups are our family too) could be together! We definitely plan to book Mellow Yellow for our future trips!

Mellow Yellow

From finding the listing to checking out we were amazed at the attention to detail Pat has when interacting with you, learning the whys on why you choose their home away from home to the description of the amenities and home itself. I would recommend this house to my friends and family and we are definitely planning a return to this home as well. The queen bed is soft and the full is a little firmer. I personally prefer a firm bed so the kids 3 and 10 got the big bed. Fully stocked with everything you will need from the front door to the storage on the back deck, it's full of beach supplies for the ones that forgot something at home. We love mellow yellow and will be returning next year! Thank you again for hosting!

The house was so cute!! The mural painted on the downstairs walls was incredible. The hammocks on the porch were nice in the evenings. My grandkids and I enjoyed our trip! Check in was easy. Pat was so nice and helpful. I kept having to bother her to find things because I was tired from the drive, stuff that my grandkids told me after I had text her, key stuff. It was great.
